Of everything that is expected of you as a disciple of Jesus Christ, being a missionary is the most important.
It has been asked in the past and continues to he a way to contribute to donate as you can to the ward mission fund.
This is the conference of Jesus, whether by his voice or the voice of his servants, it is the same.
Conferences are a thing that has been instituted since Adam gathered his family together to teach them.
Conference messages are not assigned topics. But, study it out in your mind and the Lord inspires his servants. His talks are fit for all, each gets the word exactly, directly from the Lord to us. Even children can feel this.
When we take notes we record things that are impressed upon us, not necessairly verbatim what is being said.
We have been spared the opposition and persecution of the early saints, but the world is very speedily moving away from the gospel.
It is our saftey, wether we like what is said or not, to know that gates of Hell will not prevail against you.
The blessings come from taking the teachings and applying them in our home.
Continue to study out the words/teachings so that they can effect us.
People are blessed to head the words in their own language. Almost instantly available on the internet, so that the messages can be applied more easily.
The resources for youth may be viewed and used to reinforce the things taught to youth.
We can teach our children to be ready to do temple work and recieve ordinances.
If you pray to receive the Lords message to you, you will, undoubtedly.
Meekness is vital and not a weakness. Children are born with this, it is not learned, but can be brought out through emulation.
Must be patient and gentle in our homes especially.
Calm and temperate is more perfect. It is important to be Humble.
Humble are teachable. "lead them by the hand..."
Everyone has the ability to receive revelation.
Endowment is literally a gift of power.
Sealing is the goal and purpose of power.
Husband supports, but they still need preisthood power.
Power in the temple is important as the preisthood, example of how a child needs it as they prepare to serve a mission.
We all have weaknesses and must turn them into strengths.
Preisthood blessings can give the communication that our Father in Heaven has for us. We can have that same power as comes through our communion in the temple, and I might add that we feel it at conference as we listen to the spirit of God.
How can I get my children to value what is said and love and listen when Nick is over playing a game?
Do not look back, but look at all we have to do.
The past is to be learned from not lived in. Faith always points to the future.
Early saints did not know the future, but still looked forward fully trusting the promises of a bright future.
Story of big oxen. Seem the strongest, but not the best because the best is one not who can do the best known by the past, but who will do the best in the future.
1) significant but subtle blessings. Not always obvious or dramatic. This is how our blessings are.
Our perspective might very well be one of the blessings of tithing.
Like a peace of mind, the great example of this is the stripping wariors.
We pray for relief but instead we get more ability to endure.
119 & 120 are the basis for management of the funds of the church. So brief and uncomplicated opposed to the laws used by other governments and institution. Simplicity works cause
Do not spend more than we have.
Story of the man who dreamed of so many religions and then met up with a,couple who represented mormons.
We grant all a choice, they are never compelled to join in our worship.
There is a difference of opinion as to what the truth means.
"I suppose the church would be without faults if it's members were perfect."
It is sad that people have left because of the incorrectness of men.
Almost every member of the church questions or doubts serious issues.
Doubt your doubts.
Our diversity makes us strong.
We are all hypocrites, but come with all of the best souls and try once again to become perfect. Please join us.
