Music

Usually, a person incubates a thought perfecting it before disclosing it, like music.

But, I was overly anxious to share so as soon as a thought struck me I hottest it down, I loved this and so I honed my craft. But, I found that though know how increased, I was more impressed with unforced revelation. I could force a marvelous creation because that is what I was trained to do, but I felt like I was neglecting my old skills of capturing something as it just suddenly existed in my mind.

Now, I do the same thing with words. I get a feeling and go with it, where ever it leads me, like this post, I was very impressed by a single thought, now a writer would stew it over for a while and allow more impressions to form regarding the same thing until they had gathered enough to write an incredible article. I just want to capture and then I can go on to thinking about something else. I watched an interview with Regina Spektor where she explained that she had a huge backlog of ideas to realize. I like that. Another woman at church said regarding so many great movies that they would never had been able to influence others in such a marvelous way, or even existed if someone had not journaled the story. No one could come up with stories as profound as true stories with their true lessons. I mean, how cathartic is it to align oneself with real people/events.

So, the comment was that no one does music like Layton East stake. And though technically that is right, the idea expressed it true, if only meant as a pep talk. I think that is why I love it here so much and feel at home, and why I ended up originally in music city.

There is an unspoken power in music. And when people who really have something to say, it does not always fit in words. Anyway, when the people here use music, skilled or not, I hear wonderful things and just wanted to remember that.

There was a Cellist who accompanied our choir yesterday and then last night we went to a music fireside, the talent was amazing. To me, it is only natural that these people present so much goodness through music.
