Most important tool is testimony and most powerful thing even for ourselves is to bear our testimony.

Everyone needs to hear the gospel, some only reason they do not live the gospel is because they have not heard it.

Joseph Smith said the most important thing to do is share the gospel.

We ought to want to share the peace we .

Someone did not know beforehand they would speak so they thanked the bishop for not throwing him under the bus. He threw him in front of it.

Missionary work is a perfect example of service. You sacrifice much for the benefit of others

The armor from God comes to us in various strengths and sizes according to our faith.

God qualifies those who he calls.

God loves those he can rely on.

He causes Heaven to shake blessings like a salt shaker.

Preisthood is a conduit for God to work in our lives.

Priesthood is for orginization.

And gives us something to strive for.

Through our worthiness blessings come. So we need to be able to recieve them.

Revelation to representation.

Requirements:
Age requirements, through authorithy (someone there to be sure proper authority) they must desire it, thereby understand it.

Witness versus presiding. Witness is done to verify a thing. Presiding is the one making sure things are run, makes sense with organization.

When you give a blessing or use the power it is the power of God so it make very little difference who gives the blessing.

The Lord needs us to be strong because of the terrible ways the adversary attacks them so much.

Humble and reverent.

And that is how we show our worthiness. Reminds me of the story of my husband who was told that he could not enter the temple as dirty, he used to go after work and shower there.

Power of The Book of Mormon is from a story of a guy who could not read, but felt the power just having it made him feel good.

Life is not a result of the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Scriptures are the best way to learn to recognize the Lord.

The scriptures give you out what you put in, like an electric assisted bike.

Wow! What did I have for dinner last night? When I got the impression that I was going to be a YW president, was,a definate "ah hah!" Moment.

Power is real you can feel it.

Pres. Monson only had 3 minutes and it could have even been a last thing he said and so what did he choose to say? He spoke on the power of the Book of Mormon.

I have noticed that there was a power, and challenged my young women but I never understood  byt figured that it was worth it if it was true. Opposed to not bothering, because I know that I do love my family.

Thankful for his wife and the great person he is.

Book of Mormon is the word of God.

The percentage of people who are Christian is decreasing but, I know that Jesus Christ lived and lives and is our Savior.

Story about getting a prompting to slow down which allowed him to stop exactly in the right time to save a life. The laws were exactly followed so he would have broken no laws, but he would have been disregarding the spirt and would have taken a life.

Legacy of service...that is what I have seen around here.

Please know that what you feel is love.

Always begin prayers thanking God for the knowledge  that we know of God and his purposes.

"I brought a picture so I will look prepared, it is what the Ladies always do."

Even if they do not go to church, they believe in Christ.

He is begotten and so he has power to lay down his life and rake it up again,like Hercules.

What we take in become ourselves, so as we study Christ and try to emulate him be actually become a bit more spiritually like him.

When the Lord suffered our sons he did so literally, he sort of took us in and "Metabolized" us so we could live again.

Jesus needed to learn line upon line and grow he was not just instantly perfect.

If we recognized who we are we would be much more spiritually minded as that part of things that we recognized and grabbed onto, and assumed as us.

Story of a guy who would not unroll his sleeping bag so he would not have to roll it back up, but he froze to death in his sleep.

Examples of how we need to love and serve one another.

Being kind as an example teaches to notice other and be kind and loving.

Look at others for who they could be.

Story of an interview where a child misbehaved but authority just instantly over looked and commented about how hard/frustrating life can be.

If you can love people first. Know one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.

How similar it is striking, I ought to be noticing all of the talk of how much the reliefsociety is made mention of as having helped in a funeral, and how the women were the first to administer to Jesus' body and reported it gone and yet they were not believed? Sunday morning

The prophet speaks for God and he emphasized the importance of having and practicing a testimony based on the truth of the Book of Mormon.

What can be done to help fortify my children who struggle alone? It sincerely beeaks my heart that I would be safe here and look after these children who are already watched over...stop and think of the "most effective ways" to help aide them to embrace who they are and being sin resistant  (not sinLESS).

Foremost is set an example of INTEGRITY. Make and keep covenants with God.

A succession of kept promises leads to Integrity.

I feel 100% confident that Joseph will keep a promise. We often mention a story about dogs and how Joseph is like the one who can go in public without a leash.

The gospel is,true, although the church us not, necessarily. Unless you place your faith in Jesus and his gospel unless you do it. People will dosappoint or destroy your faith.

A woman could not attend a special homor given to her son vecause ahe was on a mossion and she expressed a bit of that upset, but was chastised that she needed to remain a strong link and example to her son.

Don't worry. We are an eternal family.

We know of the God as a blessing that could only testify of itself because we understand the nature ofcthe Holy Ghost who can be with us.

The spirit does not abide in unclean vessels.

Do everything you promised at baptism/sacrament to have the spirit with you.

The spirit communicates through feels or the method that will be understood through you.

"Let us learn the language of the spirit." -T. Monson. Do not let that voice become unrecognizable.

Act immediately, just like we teach our children to obey us.

We rationalize, and second or third guess our feelings, but need to immediately respond or else we are dismissing the spirit.

(I have noticed nudges many times, I recognize, but I do not obey  because it does not seem right.)

If we respond quickly we will be marked as one who responds. Makes me think of the scene from "Ephraim's Rescue" or how Abraham obeyed each time and it seemed like being trusted by God became increasingly  more trying until he was asked to sacrifice his own son... not sure I want to be trusted by God it would lead to more sacrifice and service.

The miracle of turning water to wine is also a huge demonstration of how much Mary trusted him.

Mary accepted God's will without knowing what would happen.

Get back to simple practices of faith.

It might not seem to be related to be exact in obeying the little things, but they are related in that they build our character into one who is worthy and deserving of his blessings.

Please do not complain because we do not understand. Heaven never promises to give immediate answers.

It is taught that God is not a being that is knowable, but he appeared to Joseph Smith.

How does knowing /undersranding God help us?

We know who we are and what we must become. Each can know it for themselves.

People who obey out of fear are not going to achieve a desired reaction, because acting out of fear does not lead to love or acting out of love which is what we really want.

We are soooo extremely blessed to be alove right now. It really makes me wonder at how I am wasting my priveledges.

"Be not afraid!"

Being a disciple is so extremely important. Trust that the Lord will fight for us and that no weaponvthat is formed against us shall prosper.

We need bold confidence that Lord will help us, but to act out of fear or cause fear in others is not good.

Christ's love will replace fear and becoming more kind and forgiving.

Comparison of a watchman and a prophet as said to Ezekiel. Warn the evil or their sin will be upon your head, but if you warn them, it is their responsibility.

Every man ought to warn his neighbor.

Liberalism, I think was just called a shame based society...

Those who lead feign nuetrality out of fear of offending others who have not chosen a similar social block.

The gospel will effect your family for generations.

He found his answer to help all the others in the way the savior taught of the parable of the young man who asked what him he should do to... the mission president prayed to know how the savior would (see each) speak if he was there.

Holy ghost warns people and it also comforts those who otherwise might be in pain. Also the Holy Ghost testifies of things. Those are the three things that the Holy Ghost will do for you.

Baby's first step is such a huge and monumental accomplishment. Physical  accomplishments are a whole lot like spiritual accomplishments.

Holy ghost enlightens our minds and it is comparable to a physical "baby step".

Weren't the urim and thumin just like training wheels for Joseph Smith to translate the book of Mormon.

Conversion means the heartfelt desire to come unto Heavenly father. Although a whole lot is not similar from person to person. It happens a cumulation of constant little things.

Joseph Smith is an example of conversion. It was not a particular event, but he was seeking to be closer to God and seeking his will. It began at an earlier age.

Are we converted to the gospel?
The more we read and study it makes us wonder if we truly are.

Story of a guy who outwardly did what  seemed to be a product of a conversion, but then a bishop wondered how he could then do an evil thing.

We do not get to choose what is right but to DO what is right.

A checklist assures you meet your goal.

When you honestly look forward to Sunday, serving others and tithing you are truly converted.

You want to share good things with others.

I know things because I prayed and now undeniably I know the church is true.

There are little things that help you convert. They are not always significant, themselves. But, together they gradually change us.

The Book of Mormon was written for us.

If someone wants to know if the church is true, then read the Book of Mormon.

The Book of Mormon can not legally be translated by other groups with other intentions.

D & C is for the whole world.

Questioning things is paramount to finding thing like d&c. Or all BoM promise.

Old man was called out for walking up to the pulpit when someone gives a prayer if you walk up during a prayer.

Light mindedness should be avoided as the other extreme to being too serious.

God will not pick at our foibles in prayer, it is like facebook or txt messages we forgive others mistakes where we do not even notice them.

A son wanted his mother to remember his name so he asked her , "who am I?" She said, "That poor sap doesn't know who he is."

Not wanting to pray is like not wanting to go to the gym until you are in shape.

We absolutely need the protection for our children!!

Even stalwart examples of prayer some have not yet received a solid idea of who they are.

Stop and think about a time or instance when you absolutely knew and it was probably a feeling, but you knew it was because of prayer.

Pray for everyone! Absolutely, everyone even if you do not know them or like them.

Pray to have that thing you do not.

If you cannot love someone pray for them. Act as if you already do, not a future things.

The law is that what you put in is how you get rewarded they tend to be equal.

God if we know him well, we recognize a way he gives us things in a small not flamboyant way, like Nativity or atonement, things can happen in our heart.

All that inspires us to do good comes from God.

Told story of dream of files with various subjects, he then realized where he was, "No one,must ever see this room," and a man instinctively read the worst files and claimed them as his own, and upon conclusion after writing his name on them said, "It is finished." This sybolizes our savior.

No one understands us... we all say this, but we have a Savior who has actually suffered as we have and knows how to "succor" us.

On a flight a man who had celebrity status was allowed to get off plane and get burgers for everyone because of this celebrity status he could do a thing for others that they could not do for themselves. This is likened to our Savior.

"Jesus chose to die for us but, he didn't have to."

Or
"Jesus chose to die for us when, he didn't have to."

Liken a package that is made for our loved ones and it actually hurts us that it has been rejected or simply never opened or recieved. This is true with our savior and his gift to us. He has suffered that we might appreciate it.

"Even as a teacher I am being schooled."

It would be hard to know what is going to happen but not tell everyone. Plus, nobody believes you.

When prophets say crazy things like that... wait, wait, that's not what I meant.

There is a formula for how the Lord brings up a prophet. It says so in 1nephi when it says he is born of goodly parents.

A prophet will be prepared by an education of knowledge of words and by trials and sacrifice.

A knowledge of wether a man must be called of God comes as a gift from God, and it is intentional that a man must recieve a testimony of a thing by asking.

Mission call to support the leadership, or else things start to go astray. Example was in Mongolia.

The promises are sealed in heaven, not when, but you surely will receive if you obey the commandment given.

When translating a scripture a whole lot of time must be taken.

It is interesting that LDS did not come up with their own translation but instead just added a new edit of parts.

When you feel your prayers are not being answered, count your blessings.

Ada Hinkley stepped into a family of 8 and had 5 more children, It was marveled at how outstanding she was... example of a daughter of God, one commented that she was a real example of what sort of woman we should be.

We are discussing how genders are not suppose to be equal... it has been mentioned that we are supposed to be on the same team though, I like that. The teacher used that team metaphor to talk about Eve being a helpmeet for Adam that they were to work together in the garden. But, although men may govern and provide it doesn't mean they are above us. But, Adam and Eve were equal to the point that when Eve ate the fruit, things still were worked out, he didn't  forsake her for her "failure".

That reminds me of what I was researching because of a video I was lead to watch because of visiting Tal Bachman's facebook page where a danish Journalist brought out that men needed to stop acting like women, which I thought funny cause ot is sort of a play on the who women's movement seeking equality by doing things that men do.

We should not belittle ourselves because we are daughter's of God.

It is important to keep a journal because it causes us to be more accountable to ourselves, much as prayer does, too.

True power of everything trickling down or should say up to a nation lies in a well taught child.

"Men are the head, women are the neck".

Still, the two need to agree... so both can be independent  and still get to the potential they need.

We love God first.

Love is not motivation always though so where is it?

It ought to be. A good servant is one who always would do more if we could.

Best motivation is live and that is service.

Service should be done so frequently so it is not a a burden.

Our prayers fund answers by way of serving others.

We demonstrate our love of God by how we serve him. And that is how we answers us. He uses us to answer others through our service to them.

Safe place to raise children is a Christ Centered home.

There is no disposition to do evil.

Service lifts us, too!

Testimony of his wife found peace in her suffering through serving others.Ordinances give us strength, they are evidence of the power of God.

Covenant is a thing we accept. It is a  blessing with conditions set by God and cheerfully we accept it.

His father was called to a position without previous communication because of his being a covenant keeping man.

An important thing to consider is that the early pioneers were treking into the unknown.

The pioneers had prophets through.

There are great blessings with ordinances and covenants.

If parents keep covenants and teach their children of them then, we will be blessed in the grandest ways. Setting that exsmple is sooo important.

We will have a greater capacity to endure the trials of life.

Opportunity to speak to Heavenly Father is what a prayer is.

You cannot offend God as much as a baby can offend their mother.

As a prayer we need consider approaching the throne of God.

In Russia they use intimate pronouns in prayer.

WHY DO WE PRAY? For strength.

We cannot pray to not be tempted. It would undermine our agency.

Satan tries to keep us from praying because he does not want us to pray.

I have had prayers answered but never even prayed I did not think...but then when I read about Praying Always, I understand that it could not be a commandment to pray always and do anything else.

Missionaries learn exactly how to pray they come closer to emulating Christ. It is something done as always.

Sometimes the most Holy Gtound has been when someone prays for the first time.

Feelings of not wanting to pray come from Satan, but the Lord wants us to pray.

Prayer should be as natural as eating and breathing.

It nourishes us like food.

When we pray at night, we sleep with God.

Praying at meals can be a reminder that we need that nourishment as much as we need food.

We need to pray to recognize and accept the Lord's hand in our life.

God knows best what we need and he sees it all.. an example is Jesus who did not want to suffer, but it was God's will.

We are promised that we shall be given knowledge.

He will draw near unto us, if we draw unto him.

Child learns the most in by the way moment.

Our father wants to be recognized, much like our father, or Heavenly father it is the same.

We learn to know God in our prayers, and we are told that we will recognize his voice....so, speak with him.

Fasting is not just going without food, cause a woman in Africa said "we do that all the time." It is fasting is when you have food, but choose not to eat it.

I do know this , so why do I doubt this? We all need to refresh out testimony.

Are you willing to do what it takes to know?

You feel good, alot of people tell you otherwise, but is humbling to know you are doing great but you recieve no confirmation of it.

God could not visit, but when Adam and Eve left the garden they fell and could not be in the prescence of their father, it was like a child being seperated from parents but were given the Holy Ghist to provide comfort and reassurance.

Adam and Eve testify and prophesy when the Holy Ghost falls upon them.

This account is in Moses 5 in PoGP. We are very fortunate to have that.

It is curious to me why Joseph Smith was not translated like Moses? Or he could see God whereas Adam could not.

When we recall things by the spirit it is likely more "indellible" than before.

To get you where you are to where you want to be requires overcoming trials.

We all have to endure things but we get little miracles and tender mercies and we need to allow them to charge us (like a breath of air before we dive back down).

God does hear and infact answers prayers because she was trying desperately to change and have a positive.

I asked for happiness, but did not actually believe it was possible.

For getting the putside to reflect the changes that have happened internally will likely take a while.

What are the little tender mercies? They are gifts and do not just happen sporadically or at a time of no consequence. There is a talk by Bednar on it given in april 2005.

Each day look down and record the events that God had done to help us. It helps you be mindful.

When we actively look for them we see them more, we are not actually receiving more in our lives.
