I keep this record of thoughts/ feelings/ events because I do not have a written one. and just in my lifetime I have observed the fallibility of hand written paper, the advantage of electronic is that, like Dune, it can be many places at once, and travel without moving. It is less likely to be lost or corrupted by moth or rust (meaning the elements), though I also saw on Torchwood Miracle day how a word and all of it's references could be instantly removed, and that is frightening, though less likely.
