Do we really know it?

We read it in the scriptures, so it says that we are created by him, or pray and speak to him and ask him if we are.

Going to church we are reminded, ie the YW Theme that says,we are daughters of God.

Through serving others. "Can I do that again?" Just helping a random other we feel good, and as if we are siblings.

I need thee every hour. Appropriate, pointed out by speaker, as it was a great thing to be thinking about as sitting and getting ready to speak.

How do you identify yourself? Most importantly, we are children of God.

If you seek the kingdom of God and lay up treasures there you will be happier when you see how you get to live forever.

The closer we get to Heavenly Father the more we seek him and his teachings are foremost in our mind.

Moses asked Satan who are you that I should worship thee? When I am a child of God.

Heavenly Father WANTS us in his house. It is his work and glory to bring to pass the eternal life of man, but further he wants us to visit his house and do what we need to to be with him, it is important to him.

What is sin? Anything that offends God, He has determined what is wrong or right.

James 4:17 to know to do good and do wrong is sin.

What if a priest blesses the sacrament,  1the sacrament is still untouched.

If a thing destroys your relationship with God it is sinful.

No being can live in God's presence  unless they repent, and we can repent.

We are given commandments not to have ways to sin, but to learn to obey or bend our will.

If you are not content living the Celestial way, you will notwant to be there.

Repentance is for every soul who needs it.

If Brother Anderson, who has such a strong spirit with him continually needs to repent, then wow!

Sin happens despite our best interest.

1)recognize the sin. - do not excuse yourself in the least.
2) remorse - Godly Sorrow
3)forsake - cease from doing it.
4) confess - not necessarily a public confession
5)restitution - we make any wrong a right

Must also forgive others in order to be forgiven, and is we are changed and Love God we will have a renewed desire to obey His commandments.

It is important to do good for good reasond ans not just for recognition, the example of Helaman was used as an example of service,  but we do not know much about him whereas the whole world could tell us services that were performed by Moroni.

Pres. Hunter taught using scriptures.

He taught other stories from the scriptures. How did cleansing the temple teach about the sacrament?

If you lack a testimony go read scripture stories.

Consistancy is a form of obedience.

People say they need to read their scriptures out loud. (It helps remember)

It helps to study with others.

Write down a board of what is important to remember each day.

Personal study is good to include other things that teach and then they teach us things that we find or verified through our scriptures.

We get a warm feeling when we share things with our children.

Scrpitures were meant to be read out loud, can be done in the morning, out loud as they ate breakfast.

There are great blessings from just doing things. Even if none are apparent.

More forgiving, it is easier when we read our scriptures.

We have greater understanding, too.

How Jesus overcame obstacles and followed Jarius for the sake of his daughter.

We can drop anything else, no matter how important to show what is of utmost importance.

So important, please remember this

May 21 activity

There are lots of missionaries the full-time missionaries and undercover missionaries.

It is a genuine concern of people to wonder if we can think on our own why should we pray, and then how do we know the "answer" is not simply our thoughts or is a revelation of Christ.

To get an revelation we need to have put in alot of work it does not usually come instantly with no work towards that end.

If you liken yourself to a phone or computer trying to download from a wifi connection, some places do not have as good reception.

You must do more than just expect an answer, like the older sons who could not understand Lehi.

We must go through prophets to get to God?

People in the church and their gospel, left alone with all of the truth is like a group of children with a lot of toys, and without guidance not likely that they will find the happiest way to use what they have.

Joseph Smith is our dispensational head.

This day May 15th is the anniversary of the aaronic preisthood. Has keys of the kingdom, to lay foundation for what will be coming.

How did Joseph and Oliver get baptized and baptize eachother, it is a good thing for Young men to figure out when they gain the priesthood.

It will be incredible to attend general conference after death.

Story of children playing video game likened to children of Adam and Eve. Funniest thing was when he likened his four year old to Enoch, a crazy, wild man.

We have Sunday School to develop faith in Jesus Christ.

Faith in Jesus must be accepted for salvation.

My dad explained how we judge our own honesty. Others make us want to be better, light of Christ, why there is good in the earth.

Faith in Jesus Christ needs works, but true faith causes actions.

A man raltionalized his actions saying members are brainwashed, and would do anything if asked, but not really cause the thing we are taught is faith in Christ and trying to be like Christ, he wouldn't kill.

We need to have confidence to always remember him.

Confidence is required and achieved by keeping convanents. It is something built up and although a "speed bump" might be hit, we can know it will be met.

We have a peace that everything will be fine even if we do not know why it happened.

It is very important to be grateful.

Life is understood backwards, but lived forward.

When someone dies we have a crisis and must think about if we truly believe it. She believed and was grateful that she had prepared enough.

Important to turn to God!

Forgive others and ourselves. Atonement erases that.

Do not get angry and offended at something.

I had 2 ideas that I want to remember. How many hymns were composed by people named McSomething or other and how every mother should be required to take gospel essentials.

Peak time

It is plain with a tinsy bit of speculation, but for the most part, it is just obvious that the world was entirely being set up, alley oop style, for the restoration of the gospel.

It is probably not true, but I still firmly believe in a sort of delusion that everything was set up perfectly for me.  Like those windows 7 commercials, where people say it was designed for them, well it sort of was. Especially if you have alot in common with others you might fit the target group. I almost neber fit the target group especially since almost every tv show I like gets canceled and then my one popular hero is a one hot wonder. Ueah, I do not believe that either. Can you believe that I knew nothing about New Kids on the Block? Seriously, I wouldn't  recognize them if they told me their name, etc. One time I met a guy in cognito on a walking trail south of Seattle, and he said hello, and was stunned that I didn't even know who he was. I still don't. Oh well.
I was thinking about how we all fit ideally in a moment, but moments are not easy to define in a length of time. Two examples are there was this girl who was drop dead gorgeous, but she had terrible acne, not many guy saw past that. I thoughy what a waste. She likely peaked after high school was over and all the other girls got married and fat, and she became a super model or something. Then I was often warned that all my obsessive running was doing me alot of harm in some long run. But, it made me far slimmer and fitter than the other girls, but that was then, but now I cannot run at all and wish I was a runner now, while other women my age say all the exercise and stress on my body makes me unhealthier, so perhaps I missed a peak now because I peaked unaware in high school.

I think about so many inventions and equalities and I feel so honored and lucky to be able to send txt messages, vacuum my floor, take a hot bath when I get cold, etc. It is perfect for me. I could not have planned my environment any better if I tried.

Not contentious, but different religions help us reach a truth in the lives of others. And it helps if we remember when we are talking with those of "other"faiths it behooves us to remember that we have never ever convinced anyone of a true thing, it is a spirit and that part of God is only felt through love.

It was commented on how loving the overall spirit of our ward is.

The power of the atonment is real and what is gained through the priesthood power is truly the power of God.

If it is not true, then why are you here?

After sickness return to church was met with a grand welcome and was evidence of love of this congregation.

It was powerful to see the effects of having a child who does not believe things that they know are true.

Do not even expect to be able to do everything. That is why we need faith.

We often thank Heavenly Father did not give up on us, likewise that is what we ought to be and do for our children.

This lesson is much like the first discussion.

Doctrine of church is same, but in different religions it is completely different core beliefs.

Why are we questioning a thing? Are you rationalizing a thing?

People who are attacked would be the absolute best otherwise. This was said about children, never give up. No matter where you are or where you are going, they will start to doubt.

Being here gives you the opportunity to experience the restored gospel.

When we do the things we are commanded exactly we will feel better. This includes media.

A challenge to listen to only church music.

Church as an employer...start each assignment with a prayer, and pictures of Jesus are everywhere.

Death is 2nd biggest fear. Public speaker is biggest.

Wife is network administrator and he is a musician.

Served a mission in SaoPaulo, too.

We are all building our own personal house, we use "primary answers" for blueprints.

A righteous person is judged as such by how often they repent.

We come to points where we can NOT go forward, and the world says get out, but in the doctrine of our church is that of Jesus Christ because we can actually repent and go onward, no matter what we do. It might be very hard, but that allows for growth. (ETHER 12:27)

Each word of revelation should not be added to that book, but they can be bound together. It is said often in the scriptures that it should not be added to. It is referring to that tevelation is complete in itself.

We do not follow what others do. It is not done in other churches then why is it in the Bible. (1Cor 15:29)

The General authorities do not have a job, and they are constantly  working things out with God in our behalf.

When we feel so good,
that is how God sees us.

I cannot tell you how long it is because it never ended. The hike was straight up...it was,trecherpus, they honestly were not sure if they could do it.

But, when they reached the top, it was joyous, "mountain top" moment. Once you get up, you realize that you can do it together, but you have to get down.

Tomorrow is forever hopeful, we get to do over.

How do we keep the feeling of being hopeful?

When we serve our loved ones when we get angry we should do something together. If it backfires. Like boy she was so angry and then he got mad about, loosing socks when laundry is folded.

Do not harm others ability.

There are people living today who are cheering for you.

Anchorage mossion, topic was obedience.

Exact obedience brings miracles. Even though it seems that you are exactly obedient and seems like nothing is happening, it is happening exactly how is best and we just need to trust even if we do not see it.

Obeying builds an armor around you as one of the blessings that follows.

Spirit is so strong and can be felt in contrast to places where people are obedience.

Chapter 6 from preach my Gospel.

Obedience is an attribute of Christ.

Expected to keep the commandments willingly, it is an act of faith, we choose to obey. To show our love.

Our choices allow us Freedom.

Most important goal of leadership is to do whatever they can to allow us opportunities that lead to love.

Obedience just happens by doing it.

Repentance allows us to course correct, and hopefully we mighy always choose the path less traveled.

We say doctrine and covenants, not d&c.

Covenants are not equal partenered promise. God fixes terms and man accepts. No negotiations.

Covenant is something to do with God.

Obedience bring blessings, exact obedience brings miracles.

Covenants often called testament.

Old testament it was harder to know what was true because not as much record or dealings of men with God.

6 But blessed are they who have kept the covenant and observed the commandment, for they shall obtain mercy.

But, if you break a promise with God it would be better to be drown in the sea...with Christ we can represent.

Even those who seem to not have children, and are under the covenant... they actually have more children, but EVERLASTING,  and our covenants exist all is now. So children are there as surely as we can cannot percieve.

Because you know a thing but do not do it, it is a sin.

Make covenant makes us worthy of the repentance.

Japan earthquakes, we need to be mindful of other, we are all brother's and sisters.

The gospel has not changed, but the tools have, handbooks vs. ipad

Lord removed political barriers so that the gospel can go forth.

Do not look at people differently, but show an equal love to all.

The entire world is of one family. So, what do we owe to our brothers and sisters. Share what we have with them.

Do not belittle what you know, but sharing with respect adds to what we have, the same is true with the peace we can give to others through our words.

When others share the gospel it brings peace.  Likewise when we invite others to teach in our home it will bring a spirit of peace.

If we can get rid of the guilt, shouldn't we allow others to geel the same thing?

Now they were desirous that salvation should be declared to every creature, for they could not bear that any human soul should perish; yea, even the very thoughts that any soul should endure endless torment did cause them to quake and tremble.

It is important to know the true Christ.

There is a great opportunity with the refugees to share our culture and definately our beliefs.

Instantly, I think of Thomas S. Monson and how he served the imigrant family.

It needs to start with Love. The story of Sister Marriott and feeling like she belonged when she arrived at "Aunt Niel's" family.

Blessings from sharing the gospel:

in 6th grade overheard others excitedly talking about a pat blessing.

Obstacles can keep us from sharing the gospel can and need to be overcome.

The field is white because of the things that have been already done by saints.
