Through out my education, teachers thrived on making themselves an enigma of sorts. What I mean is that they almost delighted in seeming to have information greater than you and thus had some sort of legitimacy by the fact that they were imcomprehensible. Afterall, we were paying large amounts of our lives, in terms of time and money to learn what they know.

It is clear to me, so I imagine anyone who wants to know, because I am often given to know things that are obvious. I do not know why nor have I cared enough to find out what is really going on enough to step out of my own system and ask what is really going on, but what is clear is the same approach is being used as was in school, what seems is purposefully hard to understsnd and the harder one tries to unravel the knotted yarn, the more knots there seem to be.

Probably, the biggest stumbling block id they way we are learning to communicate. We all seek the same medium, words, and reading is taughtand that is great it opens is to a whole new world of understanding, but um don't children already have a much  larger world of understanding but, they want to be like us and know what we do, at what cost, though?

I wish we could add languages to what we already have instead of overwriting what is better to begin with.

Anyhow, what started this all was my anger or frustration at others for using and misusing words to mislead. It is like misinformation is being purposfully used, I just do not know why, I only understand why it was used in college and high school. And I assume it is to be a sort of leverage.

And so the main thing I take issue with is those who do understand pat themselves on the back and use understanding as a sort of leverage, in turn: I get it, and everyone should so you are stupid because you do not understand this language.

AH HAH! I've got it. It is another subcultyre within our culture using the same words but communicating something different, and finding it humorous that the majority are taking things at face value. I wish I had an example to explain!

Ok, here goes:

I say, "I am going to chop off you head if you do not love me." But, clearly I would never do such a thing so it means something else. So, analysts get people outraged about how I condone terrorists because of my flagrant use of beheading. Then, another group opposes saying the far worse sin is my attempt to engender love through fear, when clearly no one could love without a head. So, I sit back and laugh at the chaos when captain obvious steps up to save the day calling the majority stupid cause I never ever intended to literally chop of anyone's head, it is a euphimism or threat, not to be taken at face value, unless it works.

Maybe I ought to stop, I am confusing myself even more...

Brain dump

We come to sacrament meeting to take the sacrament. It is important to allow others around you to be able to, although doing so denies your ability.

The Lord knows where he wants things done, and miracles happen when we learn to follow inspiration, that is called faith.

"I have faith in you, why don't you have faith in yourself?" It hurts to be asked and that you cannot answer, as a serving missionart, it is essential to have the spirit so you cannot reply in anger...

If we love God we serve one another. It is not something we endure in this life, but the manner of Celestial life.

What calling will make you the best you, you can be. Bishopric seriously considers this.

If you are given a calling that you feel that you cannot handle, gear down, power up and move on.

As Home Teacher you are given a person by name to learn of and serve.

Most glorious things to happen in or on this earth involve the savior.

Joseph Smith began translating new testament by command of father in heaven,so Mathew's translation is more correct and more abundant in prophecies of our Savior.

Spiritual Survival important in oreparing for upcomi g signs and trials that indicate a teturn of our Lord.

A boy always replaced the word fear with respect. As in terms of fearing God. Reverence.

Yeah, fear is aupposedly the opposite of faith so if the word fear is properly used before God, what does that mean.

All this talk of the second coming reminds me of my brother's pat. blessing where he is told that his own children would be alive during the second coming ofChrist.

Everyone else is waiting for Elijah to come, but our church knows that he has come.

Missionaries were assigned to work on less active families.

Every single sign must be fifilled, helps us rember and not fear but understand. Even the fig trees bear leaves to indicate a coming of spring.

Most important preparaion we can make is to stand in holy places

The word for this year is "JOY"

People have commented on the notice of others when they have perhaps a sparkle in their eyes that comes from doing the right things (The things that Jesus would do).

It is important to stop and try to hear the spirit, the prompts of the still small voice, like in the movie the nativity.

The people thought that the time of Jesus' coming had passed. But, it was required to have faith.

JOY is a choice, the Lord could have done otherwise, but he chose the right. "Men art that they might have Joy."

"What manner of men ought ye be? Even as I am."

Show love to other people not just oursrlves.

Have the courage to act upon the thing that the spitlrit whispers to us, like nephi in beginning of the book of Mormon.

He that is greatest should serve you...

Who sayest thou that I am...

Be sure to make room for our exemplar in our hearts, opposed to when he was born literaly, there was no place for Jesus in Herod's Kingdom.

Remind children though lights are pretty, there is only one real light, thet are just imitations.

Maybe point out that our star is just a symbol, but it is missing something, and see if they can figure it out.

Brain dump

There are too many heroes in the scriptures to pick only one. Several were listed and their attributes, but it is not just the attributes that makes a heroe, but what you do with those attributes. And if you took all the scripture heroes attributes and rolled them into one and multiplied it, what would you have? Jesus Christ. Do not be afraid to publically own him.

Queen the wife of Lamoni stayed by his side and said he was not dead when everyone else declared him dead.

"I know the church is true, and I love everything about the church, except giving talks."

Going through a trial helps us know how "not alone" we are, and earthly angels are constantly there.

Success is measured by accomplishment and affirmation, sometimes it is just surviving. "Doing the best you can in your condition." You are doing better than you think you are. Moms especially, just need to be reminded and assured that they are doing alright.

You may not be perfect as a mother you are perfect for your children.,

Read a scripture and had everyone snap each time the word "remember" is said.

"How could you not know that things were created by God when you view the beauty in the world around you?"

Think of any hero. Ok. Now has that hero ever saved you?

Part of being a covenant people is being able to being the gospel, and priesthood to all nations.

Physically must be together, why is that and makes scattering bad.

Lehi was in Jerusalem, where he needed to be. But he was not of Judah, but was of Joseph.

The Olive tree was not bringing forth good fruit and so it needed to be destroyed to be rebuilt that it could produce fruit.

Missionaries could not serve a mission without that book. That book being the Book of Mormon. It is the sole book upon wich the gathering rests, because` missionary work is an important part.

It would be important to have a flashlight handy if an earth quake struck.

Up early to do a service for others with no fanfare, this is like the Savior.

Think about the ones who make sure there is a thing for the prophets that prompts, they get no notice but the world hangs on everyvwird spoken by the prophets.

Meekness is needed in being smart.

Service to others is ultimately most important to save ourselves from misery that otherwise would beset us.

Mother is most unselfish, does not place herself before others.

Missionaries serve others it is a huge opposition to being self centered.

Whenever the kids ask me to do things after they are supposed to be in bed, and it is not easy for me, in fact it is very hard, I make them promise me that if they are ever asked to help someone else who wants like they do now. That they will help likewise.

It was a gift to allow me the opportunity to see life firsthand through the eyes of one who was disabled, but still has the same spirit in them.

Genuinely compliment someone.

Lots of things that are right and true line up when we try to see through God's eyes, and try to think of another person and ponder.

Brain dump

I would not be here, if I did not believe in Jesus Christ. By that I mean that I would be fishing.

Jesus is much closer than we realize.

No matter what happens in our life, we can have Joy.

P.eople are very very thankful for supportive spouses.

You are never alone Jesus is aware and helping. The example was given of a woman with screaming children in the store and someone said "you are doing a good job as a mother". How would anyone even know that?

Watching a movie and turned it off at midnight, when the movie was not over, but it was a way to show God what is ultimately important.

When a mother that is a most time consuming calling.

If we were told things that would happen years ago, it would not be believable to us, but the gospel is always there to hold on to.

Even as our testimonies waver, if we hold on to our knowledge of the Savior will help us through.

No one really cares about your hair, that is not what matters. Like bearing a aquariumtestimony, sometimes I even close my eyes to just feel the testimonies.

Thankful for the clarity of the day, today.

Our savior is like the guy who has ourp back.

The rest of Sunday is not sleep, but change of doing a thing and not have to worry about things.

Are they going to do what they need to do when no one is enforcing them.

It seems that knowing more, makes us realize more we could have.

The spirit world is not far from us.

Alma 34:34 you will be the person you were is the person you will be.

Accepting the gospel is something you need to do not because it is sensible, because how life is will change how we think.

Reminded of a book by C.S.Lewis called "Great Divorce" where people from Hell went to Heaven and could not wait to get back.

We can hear lessons, with our ears but not with our hearts. For example, I saw/loved the movie Footloose but could not tell you a single character or plot... so we cannot say if someone has received or rejected the gospel.

Working for God must not be the opposite of effort and stress because it will continue after death, and it tells of rest that comes at death.

A story from Seminary manual about definitely testifying of work that happens after death.

Of the facts of mortality. It will come to an end is sure.

It was not a matter of that she will live and be with us, but peace came from knowing that regardless what happens all will be well.

A potential fatality promotes our testimony of the afterlife.

There IS an afterlife and all that was taught is undeniably true.

Inspite of hardships, we can and should have Joy.

Count your many blessings.

Missionaries go serve and are nice to others. They find Joy in everything...he could see the good in life.

Savior had difficulties but had Joy despite it, he ought to be the example for us all.

Focus is so important to maintaining joy despite struggles.

SCRIPTURES, FAMILY,  Serving and sharinh. Those things bring joy.

Learn not to ask why because that is focusing on the wrong thing.

Having children brings true Joy.

Making a goal and achieving it brings joy.

So much Joy and peace comes from the temple.

Greatest joy is in seeing our children choose what is right.

Being silly makes you feel joy. And do not smother it.

It is important not to give up amid our struggles.
