Story of woman who improved the lives of others by being so pleasant to everyone she met and greeted them with appropriate greetings like smiley faces for children. This is service.

God does have a work to do, wether we know what it is or not, do it.

"Rest if you must but do not give up...
It is when things get tough we must not give in."

The Lord has work for each of us regardless if we expect it, we must be willing.

You have never really lived until you do something for someone that cannot be repaid.

"The Lord called me because I was ready to serve."

When we help others then we will feel a more sense of fufillment.

Just as our bodies are growing and outgrowing things,  so is our spirit and it needs new "attire".

Serve others is the goal of all missionaries.

Missionary needs armor of God as they battle Satan.

Braindump Sunday

The moment we loosen our grip on the rod and fall in other paths the mists of darkness start to pour in and change our relationships and leave is in a type of confusion that the things that were once plain to us are meaningless and jumbled.

There is a way back, it is the atonement.
The trouble is that we think of ourselves as soneone string enough to cling to the rod and never stray or fall prey and so we feel like we do not need to repent...a song lyric fits perfectly here, "you don't need Jesus until you're here."

Bring your children with you when you serve others and listen to them and their ideas.

Our children need us, they need our attention.

Praise your children often and make a list of their strengths

Temples are dotting the earth because there is alot of work to be done

Temple reccommend is evidence of how much God Loves us... used group reccommend, but now have their own.

I feel close to the Lord and my week goes,better when I am in the Temple.

Symbols of temple and all ordinances are more than symbolic. It is a place where God can dwell....look for him.

We do not necessarily learn anything from the talks but the things the spirit teaches according to what we need to know at the time.

There will be times in this life, which is a journey, and not a competition, when we cannot see anything, not even our very own hand right in front of our eyes.l and we will need to know what to do. That is when we look to Christ.

The church will always be safe and that is  the testimony of a man newly called to church leadership. What is most impressive is seeing the bretheren and he can almost see the keys of the priesthood in even the words as one speaks. Therein is safety.

When the Lord speaks to our minds, but other times he speaks to our hearts and he sends feelings, manifested if ways specific to the individual.

Stake conference is for us to recieve instructions.

This starts with a prayer, that we have been promised we will be heard and answered.

The general authority promises us and informs us of how to request and recieve from God who will not and has not ever left us here alone.

Book of Mormon is straightforward a concise record. 2nd Nephi 32, read. Steadfastness is Christ is needful and essential  to us in this and all stakes.

It is possible to have a testimony and not be converted.

People are only converted truly of Christ, not awesome programs or people in the church.

The type of faith demonstrated by the woman who was healed by touching the garment of the Lord. What seperated her from the masses is that the others came to observe but she came to be healed.

"I love the Savior and I want to be like him."

Parents do a great job teaching about tithing, but do not teach about fast offering.

This needs to be taught to children so that they may benefit from the observance of a fast offering.

The comfort, peace,  joy and strength we receive in response to paying a fast, many examples have been given, but each much do it to see how it blesses their lives.

It is pure religion to care for those in need, this is something that we can do with our fast offering.

Paying a fast and doing visiting/home teaching shows God and ourselves who we are.

If you feel that you cannot afford to give, it has,been testified that we cannot afford to not give it. What we need is not money anyway.

It is important to realize and recall that the Lord knows and loves those we desire to help.

Give youth a chance to do hard things.

As we focus on the source of light and pay attention, it will develop like any other talent.

Struggle goes back and forth, but when you are converted you know and are steadfast flip flopping stops.

It is significant in the story of the rich young ruler that the Lord beheld him, because that is so ...

Topics of general authorities is exactly what the Lord wants to say to the church.

It is all going to work out, it will be fine and all experiences will benefit us.

If we do not know why we do a thing do it until you do.

It strikes me that in the definition of faith has a picture of Jesus Christ and it ralks alot about having faith in Jesus Christ, it seems to me that it is the only thing worth having faith in to the point that Jesus Christ has been absorbed into the definition of the word.

Sometimes we do miracles unbeknownst to us in the first place.

Hope is manifest in confidence, and helps you conquer discouragement.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Hope is a thing that is inherited not earned.

It is not sybolic of coming to christ.

But, even our faith in Jesus Christ is taught through Joseph Smith.

Thankfulness should not be only equal to blessings.

Not attitude of gratitude if we are only grateful when things go our way.

If you get a prompting listen to it, you are  getting it for a reason.

There are times being thankful is not enough.

In choir we get to sing next to someone and feel good about how we sound. Unfortunately, when we gove a talk we must fufill that obligation by ouselves.

We, as a bishopric, watch you very carefully... a girl asked, "Do you use cameras and everything?"

It was very good. They were teaching the lesson about being courageous and standing up if things were contrary to how you felt was comfortable. It is expected that each of us be a good example of gospel principles to others. It was commented how we effect in ways we are not aware of in the slightest.
