Different times different things will be made known to you, so different things will stand out to you.

Here is Luke 2:

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

To YOU and the good tidings are what is told about in the book of Revelation.

1 Nephi 14 is what Nephi wrote about his vision.

Lord asked John to take care of his mother likely because he would never die... That makes sense to me because he had brothers who would naturally already take care of their mother.

A new perspective given regarding immortal people's who could have been withdrawn for a purpose during the dark ages.

From Revelation 1:

8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

If one person is, was, etc. And he stays the same, that scripture would be another way of saying that nothing ever changes.

Description of the Savior:

White hair - represents purity
Gold - truth
Waters - soothing because it has all the elements  (notes) of music
Fire in eyes means drawing in and comforting or giving intelligence.
Sword represents truth coming out of his  mouth.

To me white hair would make him stand out in a crowd or from what he used to look like, also white hair comes with age.

Affliction for 10 days... 10 represents innumerable

I cannot remember what a star represents, but I suppose it provides directions.

There were times when the things I was focused on were how I could help another, but through this lesson I realize that the thing that I found to prescribe others and actually do for another is what I need and that is how I was able to see and find my own answer due to another's need.

Another thing that hasbeen weighing heavily on my mind is how multifold a testimony is and the thing I see that is so different in Utah is that the majority of saints know things because of a feeling or"burning of their heart" I have never had a testimony of this sort and started to think I did not have a testimony but I find things are true by thinking like is done in study and when Ifelt as well, then I would be so excited, cause I would know. Finally. And, I have heard it prophesied that without a personal testimony even the elect will fall. Likewise, in a film once a character said that we are given a million and one things to believe and then a thing will come that will require our ability to believe in a different way, and make it seem to us if we based our testimony, for me thinking, will be our downfall and confound us.

thoughts on belief

Belief is a strange thing, something akin to the Emporer's new clothes.

Like Adam Duritz echoed in "Mr. Jones" I want to be someone who believes. And it seems the alternate is giving up. So, I try so very hard to know what to believe, but it seems elusive. After spending most of my life expecting I will know something, I only know that I will never know, wait, secretly, I still hope that is false.

When I become one who knows I will share the secret with others, because the joy of knowing comes in the disclosing or something.

But, truthfully, there have been very powerful moments that have and never will be shared, likely they will find kinship or understanding in no other breast.
I have been deeply touched by honesty and intrigued by disclosure of truth by others. But from it I can only tell that there is no one way to know things, and faith is the hope for things not seen, well, there surely must be unknowable things or else faith would be useless. So, I should stop looking to know if I ever hope to believe.
Years ago, I heard a man's rebuttle to no evidence of Moses and his children of Israel roaming about in the deseret. Regarding such Bible stories he said, "being factual and being true in this case is not the same thing." And often I have applied that to my life situations. Faith as tiny as a grain of mustard could move a mountain, and look what Enoch accomplished....wait, how? Believe me, the stories of Enoch are worth knowing.... *Wink*

Then, there is the way of gaining belief

Gratitude is the force to open the door that God is shown to be Knocking on in the painting.

How can we presently be thankful in future?

Read Alma both talks mentioned scriptures and their topics we're about thankfulness.

Story about the miraculous blessings a woman/mother received, most likely a result  of her thankful attitude.

Our Ward is a family so sharing with friends ought to not be frightful of dreaded at all, our bishop called it friending when we approach the podium to share our testimonies. :)

Lastly, I was thinking about timing and how often I used to hear things differently than they actually we're like "playing an instrument  -al role in the lives of..... " For years I mis sang a song " Thus on to eternal per-

fection The honest and faithful will go," because the word is written on a different line I always sang or thought that we were on to eternal perspective and it did not make sense, and I tried so hard to understand it.

For sacrament, because my daughter thinks in math and wanted to play quiz each other on times tables I created a new significance in her mind I told her that the sacrament was like multiplying by 0, so, no matter what sin trues to enter Our minds we just think if our savior and it multiplies by 0 and so the sacrament sort of erases everything.

Apostles cannot lie. So if an apostle quotes a prophet, how significant and true it must be:

“When we choose to repent, we choose to change! We allow the Savior to transform us into the best version of ourselves. We choose to grow spiritually and receive joy—the joy of redemption in Him. When we choose to repent, we choose to become more like Jesus Christ!”

Read scriptures EVERYDAY!
And memorize some to recall at sacrament. When prophet asked what he thinks about, he said that he only thinks of "only Him."

my Dune colored glasses

Well, this morning, I was lamenting for the multitude of people that fade out of awareness. They are like a toy tossed by a baby in a high schair, never thought of again, like the minions in a battle scene who scatter the path to a goal who knows what their story was or how they got there. But, as I listened to another talk in preparation for a lesson at church today I noticed a talk within a talk which madee pause and as I was going to write it down as significant if a prophet is heeded and quoted by another. And it is copied to be pasted any moment, but as I was about to paste it I thought, "We see plans within plans. We see you behind it." And I giggled a bit to see how often I think of the movie Dune.

Oh, before I tangent again, here is the significant, important thing that brought me here:

“When we choose to repent, we choose to change!"

I mean, surely, there is a lot of sorrow involved, but in all changing is not clinging to what could be good, it is recognizing there was bad and it needs to change. It is a happy thing, really. But, that makes me recall my son's baptism. He was worried that if his sins were washed away that would change him because he wasn't even sure what sins were and if he wouldn't ever even remember them he was worried about who he would be. I assured him that he would still be himself.

Last thing, I was watching an anointing of a queen (not really) and thought so much about worthiness and bloodlines and prophets, which also is very Dunish to think...like the Benejeserets manipulating bloodlines. But, I noticed how the actress tried to portray an actual change as the Divine settled on her, it was significant. I was glad to see it.

stake conf sat session

The aim of all gospel learning is to increase our testimonies, it needs to be done with the spirit.

We all have an opportunity to teach, so how are we going to do this.

King Benjamin knew that the most significant grouping is in families, so after he presented the information they retired to their families to ponder, study, etc.

Christopher's on gave a talk on repentance it would be wise to review it and perhaps come to know more about how to change as it will be necessary. Real repentance might require repeated attempts.

Repentance is a process not a one time event.

Striving, ongoing repentance.

Unable to make it in the world without familiarity with the Holy Ghost.

Not only obedience, but an inclination towards good. Thus repentance is a turning that WILL be needed.

No real progress without repentance!

Daily focus on repentance....always remember him, and try to create an according mindset, daily. With breakfast, feed a child the thought of being Christian...and remember exactly who we are at all times! They will need that.

God will always give us aid if we need it, because nothing that he asks will fail to be accomplished... Reminds me of the time the apostles
Asked Jesus if they ought to stop the throng of people from shouting hosannas and tossing palms leaves before him. He said to let them if he didn't the rocks would cry out.

1) teach as we study together. Let them learn as you do.

A child may be touched and learning at times you may be unaware.

Consistency matters. Elder Bednar's painting of ugly colors up close when standing back a beautiful masterpiece of a wheatfield is seen and this is so much like what feel like our failure to teach and study.

2) teach through service. Temple work included.

3)by showing Christlike Love. We need to truly feel love for those whom we teach.

Sin sick world is an epidemic like a widespread illness.

Need to finish strong... Story of missionary who wanted to work instead of sit around and feel wrapped in his own pity.

The choice to come tonight with give us other choices that otherwise would not be available, do not back down or fear making those choices. Remember the enabling power of the atonement.

Trust in the Lord Braindump

More recently, the function of the correlation department has shifted to planning and approving church publications and curriculum and keeping unorthodox information, doctrines and other undesired concepts from being introduced or revived.

What do we know about the spirit world from the scriptures?
D&C 138
When I listened this morning I instantly thought of how different it was from what I always believed and yet, there it was in the scriptures and I had somehow not ever know it.

Jesus did not go to the spirit prison, but he set up missions to go visit whom he had not be able to see. Bondage is felt by any who have had a long time away from their bodies, hence that is what Peter said that Jesus visited those in the spirit prison.
Peter 3:19

It really strikes me how totally set apart my thoughts and feelings are from the others in my class. I almost feel like I ought not be here. When The teacher asks questions I think I have the exact answer, yet if I keep such things to myself I notice that the comments have absolutely nothing to do with what I was thinking. Again, I see that to me this lesson was about something completely different. It is so odd that there would be a gulf here in Relief Society.
Now! They are discussing things that I thought of. The stories of difficult questions where the answer is not known but trust was placed in the Lord.... And now The teacher drifts towards what was initially significant to me.

The Lord doesn't need us to sell the church simply do not hide it under a bushel....this was a comment a classmate had from Paul's admonition to not be ashamed. It came from a talk by Dieter Uchtdorf.

It is not enough to have a testimony and just live off of it, reminds me of the deer who were trapped and to not starve were fed hay, but they starved to death.

I wondered if it is a blessing to have not gained a emotional testimony. All along I have been concerned that I wanted to feel things were true cause it was going to save me.

Women need to be important and that needed to be realized, people wonder and the class speculates why women haven't always been pivotal or heeded in all situations. It was decided that there is likely a reason why things were not that way. There is a season to everything and it is mentioned that I was purposefully born to my family at this time to help prepare the world for the second coming of the Savior in my pat. blessing.

"Do you think that you could ever, through all eternity, find out the generation Where God's began to be the works of God continue, and worlds and lives abound improvement and progression have one eternal round..." This was part  of an answer given to my son's question about time...which has to have a begining. I suggested that it might not exist outside our realm.

From the SS lesson for 1rst week of November:

“Many years ago, while I was mending a fence, a small sliver of wood entered into my finger. I made a meager attempt to remove the sliver and thought I had done so, but apparently I had not. As time went on, skin grew over the sliver, creating a lump on my finger. It was annoying and sometimes painful.
“Years later I decided to finally take action. All I did was simply apply ointment to the lump and cover it with a bandage. I repeated this process frequently. You cannot imagine my surprise when one day, as I removed the bandage, the sliver had emerged from my finger.
“The ointment had softened the skin and created an escape for the very thing that had caused pain for so many years. Once the sliver was removed, the finger quickly healed, and to this day, there remains no evidence of any injury.
“In a similar way, an unforgiving heart harbors so much needless pain. When we apply the healing ointment of the Savior’s Atonement, He will soften our heart and help us to change. He can heal the wounded soul (see Jacob 2:8)” (“The Healing Ointment of Forgiveness,” Ensign or Liahona, May 2016, 33).

Story of Philemon not a letter mentioning how to live of Christ (directly mentioned). But it is a story that truly demonstrated a Christlike life. Paul will pay for anything owed to the previous master.

A cool comment from choir practice: a woman wondered from a line about peace and meekness in 'o little town of bethlehem' if it means more that there was no room in the Inn where "the Lord entered in" needed to be a place where he could be. And Inns are not likely suitable in the peaceful or humble departments.

We do not need to have the preisthood holders to be recipients of it's power in our life.

Reading group from An author figure it out.

I thought of the comment made at institute was very memorable, he explained that it is almost like the prophet sees women as equals.

The power of the preisthood does not make them superior.

To understand the power it is important to understand authority and keys.

1) in 25 Emma was commanded to love her husbandand that is  necessary for accessing preisthood power. We were asked to study what the Lord told Emma as it applies to us all. The church relationship with the Savior ought to be a model.

Good Samaritan represents Christ and though he could have  healed the man entirely he took the man to the inn which is a metaphor for the church. And after seeing to his care while he is there and leaving instructions for continued care till he returned later.

There must be time (formula proves it) in order for there to be power. Hope is the blueprint.

I am thinking now about how I might be correct then that time does not exist but the given formula where force equals power. We need time. Man to be atoned we needed time. Joseph had asked me this morning if God could break the laws of Physics. I said no, but thought there could be laws that he sort of created to assist in our realm, but otherwise laws simply are and are used to create the world we enjoy.

Perfect timing

Salvation is personal. ☑️

But, keeping relationships is just a gift...exaltation is a family thing.

Just learned something I was supposed to comprehend:

Old testament (missing essential parts of gospel like baptism) leads one to the Book of Mormon (which was hurried so it could remain pure) which leads one to the Pearl of Great Price which leads us to the temple (where we can truly be enlightened). But, the path to living happily ever after can start with Old Test if that is needed...then on to New Testament and baptism and faith in Christ, etc. It will lead one to a righteous life and happiness in the hereafter.

That answers so many of my questions. Seriously, there is no doubt about anything or rules or checklists to check off.

It is all about wants from this point out.

Story about a laundress and two pots. A cracked blue pot. The pot was upset that it was failing to meet it's potential by loosing water. Many of us are like that in that we feel cracked and upset that we fall short but wisely, the laundress knew the pot would leak and planted flowers along the path. Similarly our Lord knows our shortcomings and uses our failings to another wise purpose. That blue cracked pot looked and saw that although it lost washing water, it gave necessary water to the various flowers along the way, so likely as it looked on the blooms it could see all of the blessings it bestowed. Our shortcomings are taken into consideration and a  beautiful garden was cultivated although we ought never stop trying for perfection we will be so happy to see what a blessing we had been unaware to us.

Many things do not even matter eternally speaking, so the choice can be made clearly... Or sometimes God does not even concern himself in finding a way to answer us.

Whever we have to act we make a choice.

" In the years since I heard that testimony, I have wondered how different that young couple’s life would have been if they had made another choice—forgoing the sacrifice necessary to be married in the temple. "

Consequences due to sacrifice, like the couple who chose to not be married until they could do it right, the choice was clear.... Pause to think, maybe I need to ask what to do although I already sorta know my purpose... I know that this is a crack in my pot.

"Just because something is good is not a sufficient reason for doing it." -Elder Oaks

Even when presenting warning voice as is our duty, we need to present the options with love and acceptance.

"For us, the end is always on the covenant path through the temple to eternal life, the greatest of all the gifts of God."

How could he remember his sins but have no pain or guilt? Because when we repent, we are “born of God.” We become, as the scriptures say, “new creatures” in Christ.

We remember our sins but not the pain or guilt.

Memory of sin is essential for building who we are. Like when my son was baptized and was very worried about what would be lost. Reminds me of the story of the nails leaving holes even after the nails are removed from the fence the damage was done.

Weaknesses and sins are not the same thing, but the atonement can fix them.

Forgive others because it is important to remember that the atonement applies to everyone. It makes me think about how I know that so and so falls short of things so I pray even more because that is what I would want others to do for me if ever I fell short.... Christ's love can not be increased or decreased. And that is EXACTLY how I feel about this, and I know that God loves and will always be there to supply aide when I need it, precisely because I had that thought and am his daughter.

Casting lots pretty chancy way to choose an apostle but it is most sure a way the Holy Ghost chooses a person, not by most qualified. Example was after Joseph Smith died and new chuch leader was chosen.

The Lord’s way is quiet, it is a way of peace, it is without fanfare or monetary costs. It is without egotism or vanity or ambition. Under the Lord’s plan, those who have responsibility to select officers are governed by one overriding question: ‘Whom would the Lord have?’

Others notice a huge difference between being directed by the Holy Ghost and then, not even if they may not notice when they live that way.

Just because a thing feels good doesn't mean it is right. Cause we can be flattered into wrong choices.

Maybe dig a little deeper to see the fruits.

Repentance is essential to be able to achieve. Repentance is requiring sincerity.

One of the worst sins is denying the Holy Ghost.

Peter might have felt inadequate totge task of building a foundation of the whole church, but instead in theacts of the apostles we see the Holy Ghost gave the evidence oh confidence needed to do as required.

No campaigning for position in the Chruch, evidence that it is the Lord's church. -from a quote from a prophet

The procedure is peculiar to the Lord’s church. There is no seeking for office, no jockeying for position, no campaigning to promote one’s virtues. Contrast the Lord’s way with the way of the world. The Lord’s way is quiet, it is a way of peace, it is without fanfare or monetary costs. It is without egotism or vanity or ambition. Under the Lord’s plan, those who have responsibility to select officers are governed by one overriding question: ‘Whom would the Lord have?’ There is quiet and thoughtful deliberation. And there is much of prayer to receive the confirmation of the Holy Spirit that the choice is correct” (“God Is at the Helm,” Ensign, May 1994, 53).

We are not even supposed to use the Atonement to break-even and be forgiven
Of all you did when you lived.

There are almost no times when we get to see how we are blessed by relying on the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost does not tell us things and then not expect us to not do anything. And the more we do them instantly, the more we are relied on.

Stake conference Saturday night session

Not rules or commandments but best practice for certain promises.

Doctors are like prophets. Would you heed a given perscription - sometimes we refuse even thpugh it is easy, like Moses and firey serpents.

In order to distance oneself from temptations. We need to follow through on all challenges, etc.

Long term benefits of gospel study/learning likened to brushing teeth.

No only brush the teeth you want to keep. Same can be said for gospel learning.

We need to often just get out of the way and let our children take over.

Make sure children are going to or study the gospel at home!

Allegory of Jake.
A dog that awoke the people was suffering possibly needing help this is the case with many people. A couple awoke and saved him instantly.

Book Silent Souls Weeping.

There has been an evolution of gospel learning.

The Wallin's are going to br mission presidents for vancouver bc mission

"No man woulddo this to us...I've never even been there." God is surely! Behind the call.

Not a meeting shall happen that dies not include reading the Book of Mormon.

God loves us individually.
And will be a p

Need someone who doesn't even know them, but love them and they see it.

We get to set the best example by paying attention in our classes thus provide oportunities.

Comes back to the home being mtc talk. Well, isn't the home also a seminary prep.

Invite others to go study family history. Promised blessing that include many powers.

Missionaries get sent to serve with and benefit from mission president.

Notice things repeated those are significant.

Scripture needs to be looked up and study...Christ did not come to be ministered to but to minister.

Difference between ministering and friendship is invitations

Invitations give others a choice.
When invited to help others feel needed and they want to do that and the choice to come help is simple and it allows them a place to feel the spirit and desire more.

An invitation is a opportunity to ??. When we invite others a blessing that accompanies it was something like repentance or forgiveness...which need not be earned anyway, but it is a definate thing to demonstrate faith and love to the Savior and it is like how my kids do very nice things for me to try to earn rewards, even though I know what they are up to I usually do reward them for kindness and I will continye to do so. I must add this: "Peter, do you love me? Lord, youknow that I do! Growing more emphatic at being repeated. The Lord replies "Then, feed my sheep." Or invite them to gather with eachother!

My greatest miracle

Among many my greatest miracle reminds me of Newton and how gravity was always present but a well nudged apple made a huge difference. I recently became aware of the greatest miracle in my life (though it has been peppered with many). It occurred to me while I was watching a devotional this evening.

A couple couples were mentioned with stories of how a great marriage helps... A particular couple named Nate and Lexi had just endured what is a MOST difficult trial and they were visited, and MIRACULOUSLY were found so much in obvious love and actually in good hopeful spirits. Then it hit home for me! It is a miracle to seem oblivious to pain and hardship. It has been commented all my life how well I dealt with hardship. But, really there did never seem to be a hardship. I noted this so frequently that I decided that I must just experience things completely differently. Woman had approached me nearly in tears hoping to offer comfort while I wondered what I was being comforted for.

Then, in the hospital, a nurse asked me to describe my pain on a scale of one to ten. I told her a zero. How could a woman who had just given birth even be in pain. I was soooo hyped and in love with a child that was MINE! The nurse was baffled because I nearly died and needed an emergency hysterectomy and at least 2 liters of blood. My child was in the NICU and would not even breathe on her own. The nurse asked my husband what my pain really was. He explained that I just seemed to have an incredibly high threshold for pain. I started to wonder if I was actually alien or something cause I seemed oblivious to most of what other humans called pain (including emotional).

It was the mention of it being a miracle to not be so upset that made me think of that poem entitled "Footsteps". I realized that I have been blessed/carried through all hardships and pains because God loves me that much!!! Suddenly, I understood what I had been oblivious to how my Savior has gone out of his way all my life to make sure that my pain was minimized or removed.

I used to think that my big miracle was in getting dentures when I desperately needed them, but could not afford them. I prayed knowing that something would happen to help me out although I did not know how or anything.

I just had perfect faith that Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers and he would not want me to suffer just as I would not want any to suffer if I could help and he knows me and he loves me and will help me in anyway he can I have no doubt of that.

The only doubt and pain might exist when I want things that I ought not. Like the time Elder Uchtdorf explained that having faith that Mr. Right will just show up at your doorstep proposing isn't going to make it happen...I'm getting sidetracked. Sorry.

I have had sore trials and afflictions just like anyone else, the miracle in my life is that I did not suffer.

Brain dump

A light in your life should be gratitude.

Without gratitude tragedy is nothing more than suffering by what the "real world" inflicted on us.

Gratitutude helps us see the purpose and find not in any situation.

Sin turns us away from God while repentance turns us back to God. (Interesting that it assumes we were first facing God to turn BACK)

If something is right. Do it and like it later.

We were not born into a evening of peace, but Christ leaves his peace to be with us.

Bxxxxxxx Hxxxxxx -personal revelation. It happens not when we are seeking tha thing specifically. He knew that he ought to get married and he was not reading about marriage at the time.

Nxxxxx Txxxxxx -Home centered church.
Focus no longer of the church to teach the scriptures but the family is responsible for reading and studying the scriptutes.

Sxxxxxx Txxxxx -began with a quote of Ferris Bueler. She shared an extremely important things.

To receive revelation. Show up. Go to aplace that enables..

Listen. Be still.

Act out. - by doing you will gain more strength.

Mix it up. Do not do the exact same thing, by rote in vain.

Last week: "our homes are like The best MTC's..."

You grow in so much love for others is by serving them.

If you truly love anyone it is from serving them, like our families.

When needed help for others when serving weblos, his prayer was instantly answered.

When serving others our prayers are speedily answered.

Brain dump (old note)

I realized that I hadn't prayed this morning when I noticed I had extra time. As I prayed I understood that being heard and answered was likely going to earn me misunderstanding and a feeling that I was worthless unless I had the right perspective cause I prayed to be able to teach and love as the Savior would desire.

I said, " I am here to do whatever you need". to the teacher I worked for/with last year and I wondered then what that would mean. Basically, I would be an extension of her.

In regards to my prayer, when Jesus lived on earth (he was not exactly popular) so if I likewise am not appreciated. I need to accept that.
