The wisdom gained from going through a metal detector....what if we could place feelings that bring us down in a bucket to walk through.

The pull of the world needs not only be equaled but the pull of what is good needs to exceed...like at work we are taught to for any unappreciated or negative comment we must make 5 good ones that uplift.

The beauty of the Gospel is that we do not need to know everything or how it will work out. We only need to love and enjoy life as we will, if it so be that the way we choose to live is the way that brings eternal life then, how extremely happy we will be! But, we will be happy however we live eternally.

It is good to tell our children about the Joy of the season, but we need to show them the Joy of knowing our Savior personally and knowing the peace of being forgiven.

Do not just assume that others know how much you appreciate them. That is a reason he loves Christmas because he loves how people show their gratitude and have a reason to do so.

An adversary made negative comments and he responded "hey it's Christmas, dude. Sticks and stones. " the man proceeded to throw things at him.

Do not look beyond the mark but exactly obey what God teaches.

It is of significant importance to be in the temple on a regular basis.

Obeying the prophet and reading the book of Mormon made her focus on what she is doing like regularly praying, etc. And extra strength might seem unrelated to reading the book of Mormon but It is by turning our focus to one thing that we change our whole being.and great strength and confidence results.

Social media fast had ramifications in our lives. One sister through obeying the prophet and refraining from unnecessary things allows one to see and do what does really matter.

The temple is more than just peaceful and serene. We need it!

We are still learning line upon line. The elder prophet David O McKay said he was BEGINNING to understand the endowment.

The youth are such a good example and they represent the families.

Story of going to Mexico... And how hard it is to get to The temple. It took 150 years to get 50 temples.

Not dozing but receiving revelation. He drew a smaller temple and told that in 3 years the next 50 should be built.

Get into baptism is important but almost useless unless the endowment and sealing are performed.

By seeing how one is impressed by a given scripture allows one to better see how they are feeling and understanding and how to teach them.

When we go to the temple we will be instructed by the spirit.

Eternal life is family life.

We need to step up our work in preparing for the Saviors return.

Good idea to list resulting promises made to us if we read our scriptures or attend the temple or any such command. The Lord never gives us a commandment without a promised blessing it is as dependable a law as other earthly laws like gravity and if we document it it may build a testimony.

A community celebrates Christmas not with gifts, but they take any unresolved issues so that every household can have peace for Christmas.

Blessings from home centered learning

Unleashing power of families.

Christ knocking on door, that is a door in our home, like a house not a church building.

Parents will gain all the blessings and powers that goes to teachers.

FAMILY IS THE BUILDING BLOCK OF THE CHURCH.

Stake and ward FAMILY. why is that metaphor so commonly used?

Strength family has to teach will take us closer to our Savior.

Almost impossible to teach a child anything contrary to what they learned at home.

Bro. Rutter shared things he learned despite what is taught about what we do or believe.

This new program will help us keep the Sabbath Holy all day.

Baptized children set a beautiful example for siblings and the power becomes. It is likewise very important for parents to teach by example all times.

We have always been teaching the gospel at home now the family will be handed the reins so to speak and now be given the responsibility.

It is appropriate maybe necessary to meet in groups outside of church. "Scaffolding of the church and its structure is going to be removed." And flexibility needs to be granted so that the spirit may touch and work they way is needed.

Read introductory section"conversion is the goal". Family centered study is a "game changer".

The ONLY WAY to know God is through the spirit. Make sure your children know things.

It is important to be there. Nephites were far fewer but were able to win because they were there. We need to not be afraid and for whatever reason not be there.  That is a theme of songs that stuck out to me when I heard it. I wondered what happened to cause them to jot that down. I thought golly, it is very important to them to the point that it was put in a popular song to be repeated to the world.

Being there means more than just attending our meetings.

Geneological research is a worthy reason for lives to have been saved.

Most important missionary work that can be done is with your children/grandchildren.

Serving a mission you get to be with your spouse 24hours a day.  GET? Yes.

You get to be introspective, but it is too late to straighten everything out... Reminds me of Dickens Christmas Carol.

We will all have an interview with the Savior.

Toss out the word missionary work and replace it with ministering.

Bringing his children here. Our duty is to be inviting. Literal gathering in Layton where we will get the temple.

Gathering His children before his return.

Seeing the change in others strengthens our knowledge of God.

Not only preach the gospel, but to be an example of Gospel principles.

God's children being invited to recieve ordinances is the utmost importance.
