I learned a lesson that is so priceless while watching an educational program with my children. He, the special agent OSO, (I hope Joseph learns that he can be a hero by helping his friends even when they never ask) is doing something a bit self oriented task and fails horribly but he always says "It's all part of the plan" and he goes to help someone else. Never fail, in learning how to help someone else, he masters a skill that sort of dawn's on him that the skill is the same one that will help him achieve his own task. There is more to it, but mostly, I learned that through helping others we not only put our trial in perspective, but manage to develop skills that will help us, which is part of the plan.
The next thing is that I am pretty sure Lena used to watch it. It made an impression on me how she always said check after completing a task.
