Talk about what don't deserve, tend to only note the things thst bad happen, shift to focus on the good things we don't deserve.

Joseph Smith was grateful for what he was allowed to endure.

We see things as they end when things never end for real.

Thankful for illness, so he could. Understand others.

Peace is a result of gratitude.

Gratetitude makes us happy.

Everyone is facing something sad.

But, the worst thing is to face loosingpll the things you used to hold true. So we don't have it to help us through.

This horrible thing is not seen by our support groups or other worldly philosophies.

Sodom and gommorah did not become wicked all at once, but it is gradual like personal falling away.

One thing we can do to combat the bad feeling is to be grateful. Not necessarily what we are grateful for, but instead make it a shift in our perception to be more positive.

As we are impressed with the pioneers, if they saw us they would be as impressed with the things that we endure spiritually.

We promise to bear one another's. Burdens, sometimes we can just go listen (story about tsunami in Thailand) often, all we can do is pray. Fasting mentioned, but best thing shared was in the temple how it was made known that God does hear our prayers.

Even work for the dead is done by people who means something to them.

A very young boy who obviously knew what he originally intended and now was simply reading and not thinking about what he was saying read Moses 1:39 and said imorality. That is what, unfortunately stood out in my mind.

Then he bore a testimony that the priesthood is given to families to help bring this to pass.

Children follow the examples they see.

Father's preside over families, and it gives the greatest sense of good doing, we will be held accoungtable before God for how closely we do as he has asked us.

Our Heavenly Father is the best example to follow.

Gifts of the spirit are not parlor tricks.

The thing I love about the Holy Ghost is how he can testify to us of things that are true.

Fasting would think only about food, not like she ever ate those things, but it took on a new purpose as the holy ghost is felt through the words of others in testimony meetings.

Never even considered the use of prophecy.

Miracles are done that are beyond reason, so they will believe. Like the looking on the staff and it would be too easy. If we were a book, we would see those times when all we had to do is look up.

Priesthood was explified by it's holders when they are humble.

Blessings of the priesthood are not only bestowed upon men, for through those who do have it.

If a woman did more than go throw the motions, the Lord will help us to know that we ought to do what we are commanded, and if the Lord says that is the way his purposes should be met, men have priesthood to even out the family responsibilities.

Magnigifying the priesthood means that one ought to be living correctly.

If true to the oath and covenant of priesthood, then promise of exaltation is offered.

If we accept any priesthood deed or member we accept the Lord themselves.

Women do everything, they might take over the planet if they had the priesthood, too.

Women, kind of have that little niche.

How humiliating.

This morning my first thought was to take a peek at things I had said in the name of conversation, and it was obvious to me that I was flailing around verbally and that in my flailing I managed to steer clear of conversation entirely, and instead found public displays that were so foolish and dare I say even childish that I wish I had not said anything, the first thought was "delete it all." But, I refrained because, if anyone sees my past and my present side-by-side I will not have to explain that a lot of maturing has occurred it is obvious.

It actually reminds me of videos I made fully thinking I waa fine and acceptible at the time so that I might more fully judge the progress.

I am dealing with a huge problem right now and I do not think the public can or ought to help form opinions. The fact was, I was a foolish, prodigal child who ought, like a tiny bird,not left the nest prematurely, but my anxious nature won. I headstrongly thought I was able to make life-changing desicions, but clearly, I ought not have. For what it is worth. Mostly, I learn it from how we perform baptisms, that the Lord will not hold me accountable for the choices I made when I was not really able to yet.

Not all of the keys are on the earth, but all of the keys necessary for our salvation are. Jesus holds additional keys which are creation and ressurection. Not recieved on earth, and it is reasonable by extrapolation of what we know that there are countless more keys and it is naive to be confident that we have it all because this is called the fullness of times.

There will come a time where we will not be able to rely on our "villiage" will not be sufficient to properly care for our family/children.

Calm, in the final calm you just might recognize the savior.

Joseph smith went to a river to contemplate things... Interesting, that water is associated with peace.

Apostles are all very learned men with their own ideas but when they meet they come away with consensus.

Priesthood is the thing that distinguishes us from other good ways of life.

We must allign ourselves with God.

Christianity is a minority now.

Things had to be restored in a preparatory order.

Sereval angels returned to earth to restore keys. Not just the main ones that we hear a lot about.

Nothing selfcentered, but priesthood is used to serve and bless other people.

No matter what we do with authority or keys without the will of God it is not of any power. This is the answer regarding if the priesthood is in our home we do not need to go to church for the sacrament.

Men and women need one another, it provides balance, necessary.

Just because we do not have the priesthood ourselves, does not make us feel less, it helps us appreciate the opportunities we do have.

We still have the keys over the things we do have.

How can the gospel make you sad?

Gospel, I was taught is translated to mean "Good news". Literally, the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news because it speaks peace to the troubled soul and assures that a Savior actually did live and suffer for us so that we may repent.

But, what made me sad last night was reading to my daughter from a church magazine what should have carried great peace and comfort to our hearts, but it made tears well up in my eyes so that I could not continue that story, but chose another.

The story was about the eternal nature of love. I told her that because she was not sealed to me that were either of us to die we would never see eachother again, and I love her too much for that. So, the gospel though good news can be hurtful if known but not obeyed.

This must be true for all facets. Like if I truly believed that there was a way provided to repent and have my every sin forgiven, but just ignored it, dying would be terrifying. Life would not be happy at all unless I lived that principle. That is how faith works. To believe a thing alone does not bring peace, but to live, and actually come to know the truth. The Book of Ether in the Book of Mormon teaches that witness comes AFTER the trial of our faith. So, the happiness and peace is felt after an idea has been acted upon. I have seen this through a good friend who has recently been sealed to her spouse and children. Her husband confessed to mine how He had not even begun to understand the true nature of love and life before and urged him to do the same if he valued his family. And that brings me to the same conclusion again that perhaps my situation is one of those where we are directed down the wrong path because it is the only way to truly know which is the right.

I may think an idea is but, I dare not assume to believe it, but for some reason I can willingly accept and know a thing is not good.

We are taught that we may know a thing by what it becomes. In a way easy to understand, we plant a seed and as a seed we may not know what it is, but by its fruits you will know what it is, and good trees yield good fruit, likewise the gospel yields peace and happiness, if I am not experiencing it, then it is not the gospel. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much and wants us to succeed, so if we ask him and love him and really want to find peace and happiness he will bless us somehow to find it. To find him, that is why he sent his son to earth. That is the gospel.

Unknowing or Unwilling?

I just made someone an unknowing partner in my little deed. In my mind he was an unwilling partner, so I just did not even ask, as I always have done in the past when a thing must be done like in "17 Miracles" there is a line, "there are no more supplies, George, but you still must complete, whatever means are yours." So, I contemplated various means, and not likely the best, but an obvious one occurred to me and it must be done, but as I lay here considering my unwilling partner I actually do not know that he would be unwilling but I know that he is unknowingly helping me accomplish the thing. I wonder if similarly Laban sort of unknowingly aided Nephi in getting drunk. The reason I think this is that I wonder if a person recieves blessings from doing a thing if they are helping unknowingly. There is a scripture that comes to mind let not your left hand know what your right hand doeth. or something... The Lord seeth thy acts in private will reward thee openly... I wonder if I deny others the blessing of a good deed they might have agreed to if asked, but I simply cannot risk it. It is too important.

Stretching process brings knowledge of things that are true.

If you miss a class you miss the spirit that that teacher has to share.

Baptism is the first act of service, like Paul, before he could even begin his mission, he was told to go wash away his sins by anaias.

Christ showed how to do it, it was obedient, and it was done so that he he could serve his mission.

Baptismal prayer must be exact.

We serve better when we are obedient....

It is an outward act, we share it with others.

Reasons we are baptized:
Show obedience
Remission of sins
Become a member or a disciple. (becoming a member means suffering one another's burdens
Enter into the Celestial Kingdom
Gift of Holy Ghost - how is it difference to light of Christ, we might loose the light if we disobey the Holy Ghost.

Immediacy. How would you explain Holy Ghost to someone who will be gaining it.

Like Disney a ticket as season pass whereas anyone can get a ticket.

Holy Ghost is like a premium pass.

It is a gift you can call upon. Imeddiately.

George Pace told how we often get the Holy Ghost much later than baptism.

To bear on anothers burdens, we need to put off self.

Immersion represents death and burial of sins then as we rise out of the water we are reborn, it represents the ressurrection.

Lastly, baptism gives us a new begining

Relief Society -

We must learn to wait on the Lord.

He hears and answers, really, and uses the scriptures.

20 And when the Jews heard these things they were angry with him; yea, even as with the prophets of old, whom they had cast out, and stoned, and slain; and they also sought his life, that they might take it away. A great story about a woman who was praying to know what to do, and got no answer but just did a thing but she thought.

A woman who prayed and it took over 40 years for her sister to return to the church although she had prayed so hard. The answer was not immediate.

Heavenly Father obviously knows the best what his children need and is best.

Story of praying to know what to do, husband said it felt wrong, and brother in law said it feels wrong. This was evidence that the Lord was aware of the situation and people and what to do, and we have a knowledge of that thing.

Peaceful feeling that was accompanying the No. The surety was all important, Important to read your journal.

A story comes to mind about Elder Holland's travel with his son. And how we are allowed to do the wrong thing so that we might KNOW what we ought to do.

Do not overlook the Lord's timing.

Story of an impression that comes to others to be an answer to the prayers of others.

"Stay worthy." You might struggle, but your reward will come. The Lord rewards goodness.
