Lost dog bobby in Indiana found him at home in Oregon known as Bobby the wonder dog. Leatherback turtle has sense of direction...how do generations know where to go? Do we have an inner guidance leading us to Heaven?

Spiritual migration, when we follow the call to follow Him we will feel a confirmation....part of that journey we will naturally serve others.

Our trials will not be removed but we will have the blessings that we need.

Often when we look at ourselves we do not see the way that we help others, cause we are just ourselves.

God's work has always been done by men who consider themselves lacking.

Migrstory animals, like salmon will never get when they need to be, thus exist by just floating with the current.

The Lord will use us is MARVELOUS ways.

How can we all serve?

We have very little value or reason to our lives if we are stoogy with it.

We miss important duties because we are looking for the huge significant needs and service.

Service need not be on a grand scale, but maybe those we see daily need help in small ways.

We do not go to meetings for ourselves,but to help someone feel less alone.

On day to day we can pray to find those in need in our communities.

If you hold to the rod the world will naturally forsake you.

Reject anything that is... worldly?....um, lost it.

As the bread is torn, each piece is unique just as is each person with their needs.

Service is not a thing to check of as done to get to heaven, but it is the quality that will be familiar to those living in Heaven.

Do not be content, but also, do not be discouraged.

We should not demean or evilify ourselves.

GOD LOVES HIS ENEMIES although I cannot,BECAUSE AT TIMES I AM THAT ENEMY.

Give your hand to anyone trying to walk the way to God.

Because a man stumbles and falls on his path homeward and ends up in a ditch, it is still the path home...

Spoke of eclipse and how large the sun actually is, but the moon appears to block it out.

We need to use equipment to see through "gospel glasses" to avoid a spiritual eclipse. The glasses allow you to see with a larger perspective and light that otherwise would blind us.

Any virture taken to extreme could become a vice.

Avoid the spiritual eclipse of pride by being humble.

Repentance is enobling and happy. It points us to freedom and peace.

Prodigal and must come to ourselves and chose to make the walk home or repent. And feel the joy of repentence.

I love the Brittish summer it is my favorite DAY of the year...story of waking up late and missing it, that is likened to our mortality, it is but a blink, but it us the day for us to repent.

We are not to do things by ouselves, but should be humbled to have weak things made strong enough.

Coincidence does not suffiently describe how God works. This is seen in the workings with Alma and Amulek.

Promised that as you read BoM you will recieve blessings you desire. Like knowledge and strength.

Said things in his missions spoken language, that included and my pants are on fire, and said sounds good, huh?

Then told story about a book being thrown at high counselor and missed and only ended up stunning a choir member who said, "do it again, he is not done talking yet and I can still hear him."

Disciple is more than one who just studies and learns of a thing, but actually strive to live what they learn and study.

Reading an actual book is best.

Reading is to the mind as exercise is to the body.

Need balance, not just do one thing.

If someone calls you a looser say, "you're right, cause I eat loosers for breakfast." Cause we are what we consume, so we need to consume the teachings of Christ.

High conselor had to learn Italian with an austrailian accent.

Man said closing prayer instead of bearing testimony, but meeting was not over yet.

Parable of the vinyard, same pay for people who worked, but some only worked the last hour.

They agreed on a wage before they started working, but then they were not as happy because of pride. And they compared how much work each had done...reminds me of prodigal son and how one is not thankful.

We need to remain humble or good will not have it's sweet effect.

Being called means invited to work for him, but chosen is meaning that we have his blessings.

Can teach faith by example, and to recognize that faith has been used in this way.

We share the gospel because it makes us so happy that we want to share that.

Pray for missionary opportunites and then be aware of it when it happens.

****Think of how you can uplift others.***

Not your mouth filled then speak, but speak and then your mind will be filled.

More doors opened when we approach people as people, instead of as one who needs to be taught.

It is missionary work to invite someone to come share their talent at a fireside maybe.

No growth in the comfort zone and no comfort in the growth zone.

Sometimes the step we are making with this person is not evident in this life.

There are lots of other things that keep you from learning, so now we will focus on why we need to learn.

We need to learn about how a person can love even sinners.

A talent of Gordon B. Hinkley to read and understand but further distil it down to what should be remembered.

we need to figure out how to teach peoperly, a mind might be very fine, but if not harnessed properly it may even be mistaken as a trouble maker.

Likewise we might come up with alternate explinations for what keeps us from excelling, but instead we look for the way we can look at things to understand them.

It is like looking at anything and figuring out or solving how it is to be accomplished. We might need to use a different means to accomplish it than what is normal.

When we teach we naturally must learn it.

When we look at the eclipse we need to use special glasses to even percieve it.
That is like needing to be translated to percieve God.

One of the reasons we learn so well is by incorporating music (vibrations).

Children want to be same as parents and they will do what you do....notice it is what you do not what you say.

Braindump

Our Savior did not experience what we did, but he has empathy to feel what others frel. A thing close to that is sympathy where one tries to eliviate pain or suffering as they see them... although, most suffer silently.

Not all angels are from the other side of the veil.

There are angels in our neighborhood. The example was given of A sister who mostly kept to herself, but now cannot bear to see another alone. Many examples in our ward were given as examples to follow in the way the Savior lived.

We sang "Because I have been given much" and it was all the sweeter because or the immediate reminder that invited the Holy Ghost's most favorite power of testifying of the Savior's mission and divinity.

The Lord wants to give to others and bless them. Our job is to find this out.

Ways to act:
1)pray
2)come  follow me.
3)Serve with a smile (it feels good to spend money on someone else.

The only really happy people are those who serve others.

4)Commit to do something
5)Do it in secret

I used to be afraid to praise or thank too profusely out of a fear or giving a reward when I know that I could never reward as well as God,  and he rewards privately.

"The best way to find yourself (if lost) is to loose yourself in service."

Tithing -  a way to help build his kingdom, and that is pretty much the only purpose we have.

Story of the widow's mite, is a neat story to imagine how they came to be watching it.

Celestial kingdom will be for the obedient.

"You were forgiven of your sins pretty quickly when you want to get married in the temple."

Because of it being rebellious to have a religious meeting he regaularly did it, and it ended up making all of the difference... maybe this is an example of how we make a child do a thing if even not for the best reasons at first, we will end up in the right. Which I had wondered about.

Your children learn from what you do.

Tithing is a principle of obedience, not financial.

Brigham Young asked a man for 10,000.00 and he went to the Lord and the Lord said to give 20,000.00. So, the lesson that was joked about was just give money he asks for first off next time...

Tithing was used at temple dedications for all of those cookies and water bottles.

You can donate to specific missionaries in our ward (**maybe pray to know who to assist and then use any funding gained can be used towards that end).

Serve others!!! Tithing can be paid in  more than money.

The Lord gives us a way home... tithing could be a means to learn to serve and love.

Why was virtue added to YWTheme?

Because it encompasses so many important things (from talk by Elaine Dalton).

Implosion is so much faster than explosion and a bit of dust is all that is left. After lives implode due to loss of virtue.

Never was there a time when virtue was more needed.

When we choose to be virtuous is gives us an added strength. A strong self governing trait.

conformity of one's life and conduct to moral and ethical principles; uprightness.

Stay away from etertainment that will cause unclean thoughts,  keep yourself clean.

Reminds me of my mother refusing to watch a movie that was called something regarding christ, it was good, So one would think, and it interested me, but because of it's rating she would not deviate. I would always think well, the Bible has lots of R rated stories,  or the out cry about the scenes from movies that helped so much to improve and become "good". But, they had scenes that were rated in a way that will not ever be seen by me. Mom taught me that those same things can be taught in a way that does not need to compromise.

The spirit of the home cannot be there if there is a lack of virtue.

Virtue is not just avoiding bad things, like health is not just avoiding bad foods, it encompasses so much more.

I do not want to have that image in my mind for the rest of my life.

October 14 fall festival

Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything that we believe.

Gospel is,true, used fasting as example, but time is earthly.  God is listening and he is answering on his own time frame. But, because every prayer is not immediately answered sometimes it is and failure to recognize such is a sign of in gratitude.

Relief Society is the epiphany of Jesus Christ.

If not called as a missionary then paint one on your heart.

Membership of church is valuable.

Testimony of preisthood because of hometeaching.

Countless examples of things that provided a strong testimony like dead sea scrolls.

An increase of love distills upon us when we are called to serve particularly as a president, Relief Society is surely an extension of the Lord.  (That emotion is likely how he feels about others)

I know the church is true.

It is one of the most important things to learn is that the Savior loves us individually.

We should serve others.

We should always obey our parents or any care giver, regardless of circumstance.

Mission is about serving people, regardless if they accept your message.

Interesting it sticks with me about the general authority who was released because he told stories as if they were his, but they were not.. I cannot even remember.

Truth vs opinion

Be kind even when being honest. Like I heard a woman tell another something that could have been tricky to say if done confrontationally. But, she said upfront ,"no. But, the choice is yours, and you will see that there is a reason for this."

If we are not sure and need to ask, it is not true. Maybe ask God.

Is it a lie to tell our children about Santa Clause, (ask God). We are sort of teaching them to lie unless we teach them the purpose of santa.

Teach children when we tell them not to answer the phone, etc.

Joseph has told me that I could not do a thing because I said something and changed my mind, regarding grounding him, I later said that he would not be grounded.

No other alternative is easier than simply being honest. (Gospel is easiest)

There is a glitter force episode about a lie that had different intentions than the life the lie seemed to take upon itself.

Saviors divine intervention is seen through all of his life.
