Braindump

"The Lord speaks to us in a way we understand, and I guess I speak teenager." Sister Wood

Pointed out the difference between assignments that are done or are a process.

I see myself in my students but I never let them know because I am all mature and stuff.

A wonderful analogy of people in a congregation to students in a classroom.

Her mother is very wise, though she feels inadequate compared to women at church who all have degrees and such.

Our bodies, though not understood fully the role eternally, but we cannot trade it in, we need to practice preventative measures to keep our "temple"in perfect shape.

Story of a man who ended up on an entirely different path than what he intended, but this morning he fufilled his mission of returning to the church which was a goal from when he was excommunicated, but it just never happened. He started out well, but It is obvious that his downfall was the same as what he learned from this choice, that is not valuing what he ought, and procrastinating the thing that ought be done.

It is important to note that as he took steps to be rebaptized he was  "encircled by arms of Love". The love of the Savior as it filled the room of the high council this morning.

Look for opportunities to show love for others
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

The Lord concluded his parable of Good samaritan with the commandment to go and do likewise.

When we had our own disaster people had problems themselves
They went to help others.

"My family is awesome. Who wouldn't want to be with them?"

It seems that people come alive and relate to love and doing good to others. I have noticed that people look more beautiful as well when they serve others. It seems better therapy, than any beauty treatmeant to be positive and look for the good and verbalize it in others.

Why is the Second Coming important in our everyday lives?

It will be a big deal probably bigger.

We want to be a part of it because it is such a big deal. Wether or not it happens in our time we are to do work in preparation for it.

1) cleanse
2) judge
3) millenium
4) first ressurection
5) takes his place as king.

Even during the millennium people will need the gospel and to bee baptized.

The Lord will set up his political government, and reign. The church will be a part of it. Very much like the paper I wrote in government called "The most perfect union"

Relief Society
Thank you for the compassionate service, which is natural for women, I suppose.

Next week fast for the missionaries.

Had wipes but after setting them down said, "These are not part of my lesson."

A friend lost a baby and it made me want to hold my babies closer even if they were throwing up on me.

Felt inadequate because of being the youngest.

**Prepared and not overwhelmed.**

Significant or subtle blessings from Tithing.

It is good to keep a record of finances will help us note or learn from Tithing.

How the Lord always keeps how word, and if we want his blessings, we will do everything he asks.

Maybe paying Tithing is the secret to get our blessing.

This lesson itself is a testimony. Because, of the thing I prayed this morning, I feel strongly that it would be a better blessing to get peace of mind than money.

A last honestly thought that her husband would be struck by lightening, actually when he did not pay it.

Opened up the Windows on resturant to celebrate made her consider the use of the word window.

We have to give to get, it is making room.

For example, a subtle but significant blessing we receive is the spiritual gift of gratitude that enables our appreciation for what we have to constrain desires for what we want.

There are many things that are difficult, but possible. This was thought when the teacher told several times going to things at temple square, and the great lessons being there gave her.

"testify spiritual and temporal blessings come into our lives as we live the law of tithing. I bear witness that such blessings often are significant but subtle. I also declare that the simplicity of the Lord’s way that is so evident in the temporal affairs of His Church provides patterns that can guide us as individuals and as families. I pray each of us may learn and benefit from these important lessons, in the sacred name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen."
