THE HONESTLY CRAZY WOMAN

Sure everyone says that they are crazy, it is more or less a euphemism, but we do not mean literally crazy, but what is crazy. For example, I will use the crazy cat lady. what even is that? well, it would be a woman who has an abnormal amount of cats, so to understand what crazy is, we need to understand what normal is. First thing I noticed on accident was that because of their location on the keyboard one can easily turn normal into mormal, which auto corrects itself into moral. oh, here I go on a totally unexpected tangent. I have to mention the time a man gave an entire talk about the immorality of man, even when reading the it scripture from Moses that talks about God's purpose in making man immortal, hang on just realized how easy it would be then to mistranslate things, if you can see a word clearly spelled as Immortality but still say immorality then, there is a real threat of only seeing what we want. Ok, that whole tangent proves my real intent to write about how a friend mentioned repeatedly how I go off on tangents, never actually making my point. I think it is because I feel justified because I made better points than I intended anyway, but it frustrates when people they were wanting something other that what I gave them. the thing what really impresses me is that the person cares enough to mention it, I mean, why bother, put the crazy lady away in an asylum, right? It is uncomfortable to me when others do it, but I had not noticed until someone who has been officially judged to be "crazy" kept chasing thoughts out loud that likely belonged together to her, but I could not follow at all. She mentioned it and veered right back to where she started. My mom has admired this talent in others, so I decided it must be a thing common that everyone does, but normal people only communicate pertinent information. Hence the Crazy Lady is not abnormal because she thinks in an unusual way, but expresses it. The Crazy Lady only appears Crazy to others, but seems fine to herself. She sees the train of thought. For me, it moves so fast in completely different directions that I must make lots of decisions to ride one out and I usually jump tracks in a snap "never making the destination, but [I'm] never going back."(from Broken by K. Montgomery). So, I kept thinking about the time I wondered if I appeared crazy to others, so I asked. I was told that my gait was obviously impaired, but I was Not seen as deficient. My thought, briefly on that is how very small improvements occur over time. I think of how long it takes us to get home from the school. We travel soooooooo slow, I wonder if we are making progress, but we always meet our destination. So, that is likely the case with unseen things as well. I walk so much better now, and that is because I just kept doing it day in day out for years. With mental aspirations, It is the same. I do not seem to be making improvement my change is in no way dramatic, like being pregnant, from one day to the next you do not see any change, but if the non pregnant woman turned into the pregnant woman over night it would be noticed. I have not made a distinction or separation from things pertaining to a mortal life and things pertaining to my assumed immortal (without beginning or end) existence. In my religion, I lived one way, religious morality applied to my self not just to who I was in church. Later it was commented how we need to stop living hypocritically, there was no change for me simply because my religion an life were not separate. Now, I am noticing there is no separation from my artistic side and my analytical side, It has been a source of difficulties for years. I would used scientific terms to refer to things in literature, only to be handed back what I thought was brilliant covered in red saying, many times how such a term does not exist. I had the worst trouble when I studied the industrial revolution at the same time as some sort of literature and I noted parallels and so I used terminology that described the literature perfectly, only to have the teacher tell me that I was making no sense and if I continued to say such nonsensical things, I should keep them to writing where they would not easily pollute other minds that were actually learning. Wow. So, I took higher level courses in English Literature for my other electives where the professor praised me and even recommended me to an English Honor Society typically only intended for English majors, but she felt that my depth of comprehension was such that my major choice would not be a consideration. I was after all, a music major, taking Shakespeare classes as an elective. I do it with music, too. I was seen as crazy because I did not turn off my "music" switch when returning to real life. So, crazy mean, that you are not what popular opinion has decided is usual. Any connotations need not apply. Older women play with cats and earn the label "Crazy Cat Lady" until she learns to be like everyone else. I jot too many Notes, so I am crazy, too. Any you read it! Hah!

Feed sheep, not necessarily  when it is convenient.

Best example by living the gospel is the ideal way to share our testimony.

Preach my gospel or teavher no greater call, is not just someone else's calling or responsibility.

We are all teachers.

It is important to teach with love from scriptures and lesson manual.

Involve others to ensure the message is going to stick.

Do not loose the lesson in the presentation.

We must strive to teach with the spirit, it teaches not us.

Prayer to accept God's will, it brings peace even when things do not go well.

Courageously, live the gospel.

Maybe write a blog of observations of gospel living.

How does the temple bless you?

The Lord started attending the temple often in his youth, and he continued to do so through out his life, and he has set the example for us.

The youth are very diligent in doing temple work. Not a single requirement to do so, the youth go because they are invited.

(That would be such a great thing to plant in the hearts of my children to genuinely WANT to find peace and wisdom in the temple)

Come follow me is a literal quotation, we need to follow his example.

Plan of salvation is real.

Study scriptures enough that our children not only find our savior, but our family.

Many have seen the Lord in the temple, but everyone can feel his prescence.

"I will not leave you without comfort " The LORD said it, in reference to the Holy Ghost. That is how we can KNOW what to do. This knowledge is undeniable.

If we worithily partake of the Holy Ghost, it will be a protection for our family. This is through our sanctification, we no longer desire to do or like things contrary to and offensive to God.

As we surround ourselves with Godly things, we will be more likely to hear or understand the impressions that come from heaven.

We can actually feast on the words of Christ they are so available to us.

Wash with blood means to sanctify, which we do each week when we partake of the ordinance of the sacrament.

All things denote there is a God who loves us.

Do we talk "like" Christ? Tenderness

Kindness govern your tongue. Children hear another language, and our words might not be even understood.

Behold means more than see.

When the youth are strong, everyone is strong.

When we are offended, rebuke with love.

When we speak up or for the church we are doing so for the Savior of the whole world.

The Lord wants us to be happy, we become happy when we share we are happy.

It does not matter how the football is taught, that is likened to the teaching presentation, it matters more how it would was recieved and led to a score.

Teaching is not for the knowledge of the world, but as, teaching our children it is suited for our audience.

Power of the Temple is in the spirit of it's work. Not the physical aspects.

We find more than peace and escape, but hope. It is before the throne of God.

We need to have the ho lyghost with us so that our children can feel it.

Do not try to speak out of anger.

Never make a big deal out of anything. Even if it is a big deal.

Stake adult session

Music sets the mood, just everyone singing invites the spirit.

Spirit invited into home through just the display of a singular painting of the savior.

Felt the love and concern of hone and visiting teachers.

Obedience to commandments does not limit what we can do but instead allows us to do more.

Keep up the work and comittment of fellowship, even when change isn't apparent.

Letters from missionaries to family and friends is different than the one sent to father. That is a lot like our prayers.

"I had the faith but didn't  trust the Lord." This is often the lament of those who hesitate. But, instead think of Nephi and how he believed that a way would be provided.

Neverthless, not my will, but thine be done. An angel strengthened him. Jesus was not absolved, but strengthened.

Only eveough faith to believe in Jesus Christ is required to be bsptised. That puts a new perspectuve on a false offense taken by those who are denied baptism.

Faith is action.

If we fail to respond, we will get countless opportunities.

5 Pillars of missionary work.

Faith in God includes faith in his timing.

It is easier to build a soul than to save one.
1) find members - start looking in family then friends and coworkers.

Elder Haight asked if those who had ever been inactive, and 1/3 of people stood.

2)teach. Call elders if need be.

3)Baptize.

4)retention. What good does it do to baptize them if they don't stay.

5)Reactivation. The Lost sheep. No matter how good you are there are people better than that which are less active.

The Lord has prepared someone to do this.

There is something so significant about the gratitude expressed in the opening prayer even of this meeting. Every single person here is playing a significant role.

The Lord' s reckoning is not ours, so the fact that it is the last days means it is surely in his eyes.

If you think you can not take this, it is too difficult to bear, we are right. We cannot do it without the Savior.

It is harder to allow others to help us than to help others.

It is by helping others that we are blessed, so we can suffer so that others can help us heal.

This stake is a place where the Love of God is palattable.

Angels are deployed in our behalf when we give up to say " thy will be done". It is all about giving up our will...

You never even invited me? When you had this truth?

We do our part, the rest is his work, we must trust it is enough, to do our part.

Have the missionaries into your home, it will bless your children.

Leaders, lead children back to Heavenly father.

Mind the gap in the subway in London. This is an exercise of faith that the shepherds went to go see the Savior when they knew only where generaly to go.

We all have gaps in our lives between what we expect to have happen and when, then how and when it actually happens. Be willing to accept things and do not start to doubt, because we are in the gap. As sis Warner planned her wedding, but didn't  marry until 37.

Not only mind the gap but, accept that it is a gap, and it will be overcome.

There is something that captivates and physical beauty might be a part it is something more.

An understanding of all things comes from a desire to know (feasting)

The more we learn, the more we realize that we do not know.

Cry unto the Lord that is when our hearts are softened.

When you honestly love those in your class they will understand that and respond accordingly. Nothing is conveyed as powerfully as love and genuine concern for others.

The concern for others can displace the concern for self.

Take action. It is sign of faith. The children of Israel  started crossing the red sea before it parted.

Obedience produces results, Christ being the ultimate example of this, never being anything but humility and sincerity.

Manage your resources, we are in servitude to our debts.

We will be blessed in all of our affairs if we serve diligently in the temple.

We can solve our own problems.

Unity is important.  Zion.

Communication requires listening. Prayer provides lift.

Integrity means doing what is tight regardless.

Seek learning and wisdom.

My mouth gets dry and I swear so much,  so I apologize if I have to put my foot in my mouth.

Peter was asked to go be a disciple not a fisher. God does not need fish.

Sunday School-

Post mortal Spirit World. Mortal life is very temporary, so pur wants and happiness shifts.

We are  eternal beings. We are all children of Heavenly Father.

We are born on earth to get mortal bodies and learn to live by faith.

Heaven was seen as a place not flying around.

Feelings are so real they are as certain as,our other senses, because the spirit world is around us.

Family relationships are also important. President Jedediah M. Grant, a counselor to Brigham Young, saw the spirit world and described to Heber C. Kimball the organization that exists there: “He said that the people he there saw were organized in family capacities. … He said, ‘When I looked at families, there was a deficiency in some, … for I saw families that would not be permitted to come and dwell together, because they had not honored their calling here’”

Unrealized dreams when people die it is the same as when we get old or suffer a terrible malady, but ww have a hope.

Relief society spiritual and temporal well being.

It is important that we keep our thinking straight, my brothers and sisters. Let us ever keep in mind that all material things are but a means to an end, that the end is spiritual, although the Lord is anxious and willing to bless his people temporally. He has so indicated in many of the revelations. He has pointed out, time and time again, that we should pray over our crops, over our livestock, over our households, our homes, and invoke the Lord’s blessings upon our material affairs. And he has promised that he will be there and ready and willing to bless us. …

The Lord's hand was in everything to get us here, though it was not really a place they would have otherwise chosen.

We pray alot for temporal, but those prayers can be answered, too.

Ours is a gospel of work—purposeful, unselfish and rendered in the spirit of the true love of Christ. Only thus may we grow in godly attributes. Only thus may we become worthy instruments in the hands of the Lord for blessing others through that power which can lead to changing the lives of men and women for the better.
We should be humbly grateful for this challenge, this heritage, this opportunity for service and its abundant rewards. How fortunate are those who may follow the Lord’s plan to develop this power and use it for the blessing of others. That is what the Christ did. That is what we are privileged to do.

Fasting is a service. We give money from our fast to do charity work for others.

Veil is thin, our ancestors are learning and choosing, there is no greater feeling of the love when they choose to acceptvthe gospel.

We do not always get clear cut answers. Sometines I talk so much that I am unable to get a moment on until we arexquiet and pondering things like acriptures.

Things unfold that are no surprise to God.

Grew alot from serving a mission. It is hard to do when doing so goes against things taught by the Lord.

People of Africa are asked to fast even though they do not have much.  When someone asked about they said it is going well, they start on Friday snd end Sunday night. The response was I think you got it wrong, it is inly two MEALS. They responded with affirmation yes. That is what we are doing.

We need to be long suffering with our children.

With the atonements help we can do anything.

If fasting isn't  a sacrifice it likely isn't doing you a spiritual good.

Book of Mormon is the word of God.

Book of Mormon is without a doubt a work of God. He knows this because of reading it daily. The book is  to be understood spiritually that is how it gives its true gift. Not intellectual.

There is nothing we can do to not be loved by the savior.

"If I stood here and told the things I was thankful for I would use all of your time."

Thankful for the truth.  Included Joseph Smith and Book of Mormon, if we live by it, it will help us be happier.

When we attend church we can proudly say that there is no other place that we would like to be.

It is far  more important to live like him and follow his example, than to literally walk where Jesus walked.

Maybe it is better to not be a smarty pants because then you can recognize truth via the spirit.

Study and pray and never stop and never give up, ever.

We can be comforted  through prayers. (Even squirrel mating season).

Mental troubles maybe not able to baptize him. His struggle was with physical limitations. He asked,"Where are you?"

If the Book of Mormon is true, then Joseph Smith is prophet and everything is true.

We have the potential to become like God

What is the Holy Ghost. Light of the Holy Ghost convincing witness that something is true. The gift of Holy Ghost stays with us.

It will show you all things that you should do.

We go to places and we need to ask for directions.

Spirit continually guides us and if we are humble he will lead us home.

We are likely going ask difficult questions.

The answers we get are clear and need to be humbly and instantly followed. Holy Ghost is completely honest and gives us tailored customized instructions.

Sometimes we fail to be honest but the holyGhost tells us,what we need to hear. When we do one thing we will be able or fit to do more.

Sacrament is time to review what we need to do to achieve our goals.

When you are prompted DO it, you will recieve more and be given a greater ability  to make correct choices.

We are shown things but we,need sufficient faith to do the thing.

We will need to go beyond the grave to achieve perfection.

A time the spirit told me to get under the bed and get my son, when he refused to climb out and I could not get him, so I prayed to know what to do. Then although I doubted it,  I did it.

Things will work out. Have faith. Things work  out very strangely sometimes.

Calling put me way out of my comfort zone.

What I learned on Halloween

I learned a bit of why God said, "if ye love me, feed my sheep." I know it seems more of a Christmasy thing to learn, but learned it through a cultural halloween ritual known as Trick or Treating.

I taught the kids to say two things. 1)trick or treat then, 2)Thank you. Chuck E. Cheese supported me in singing about when you go from door to door you must say trick or,treat to get candy. So. The kids had that part down. It made me happy, I only had to remind them to say thank you. After about the third house, and needing to remind them I said, "it makes me so happy when you say Thank you." Then, the kids seemed to run bragging that they said thank you. It was cause they loved me. Mary Anne my youngest said, I did not say it loudly, but, I made sure it got in their ears. I tried to explain that I knew they loved me now, because they wanted me to be happy, and I was, so happy, but, I hoped that they would feel appreciative and feel a need to say thank you whether or not I asked them to.

My oldest son started saying "Thank you so much for the candy. I love it!" And I gave
him the biggest hug I could. And that is when it occurred to me that maybe God is pleased when we serve others, etc. But he would really be happier if we sought the well being of others despite being asked or dedpite hoping
to earn His approval. Maybe it is a truth, but it was not intended as a Commandment. "If you love me feed my sheep." Came to mind when I said,"I love it so much when you say thank you. "

The key

I always denied it to the point where I denied it to myself even, that my marital problems were financial. I still do not think they are the cause, but rather a manifestation.

I realized that the real thing I needed was employment. Then, I could buy a car, buy food, get presents for people who deserve them, and help pay to send my kids to college.

I never ever imagined my life even could turn out so horribly.  I have absolutely no money, and am not given any knowledge of how much money my husband even makes and certainly not how it is spent.  I only found out inadvertantly that he had spent all of the money specifically earmarked for Christmas on vehicle work. And it is a vehicle I am not allowed to drive for no other reason than my husband does not want me to. So, I walk everywhere, including walking the kids to school even in pouring rain. Strangers gave me an umbrella and money, because I had none. Strange, every need I have had has been taken care of by strangers while my husband does not even lift a finger to help with anything around the house or regarding the children. I am ok with that sort of abuse, but when it effects the children, I will not allow it.

I need a job so I can get a car and be able to drive my children places when it starts snowing. I almost find it too hard to bear in trying to get by with no money for the holidays. It was so terrible last year, when our gifts again, came from strangers, although appreciated, I vowed never again. So, I asked that the tax return money be set aside for Holiday spending (this is hard for me because with all of my being I want to move closer to my other kids who need me and the money could have been used that way, the previous year, oh nevermind)

I am getting too old to be dealing with finances, it is a thing for college students and young couples. I married the one Mormon guy whom I figure does not even know his duties because dileberate failure is unfathomable. I have had to deal with court summons and such regarding court cases involving my husbands debts that I was never even made aware of. If he was in such a position, he had no right to inagine he could support a family and then flippantly quit jobs cause he would not do what was expected. Yeah, that is what I am thinking. It is pretty disrespectful of your family when you cannot swallow your pride to be able to provide things like food or medical care even. I needed help very badly, to the point where I thought of extracting my teeth on my own, or maybe somehow getting imprisoned. The pain I endured exceeded labor pains. So, my church stepped in and actually paid for what would have ammounted to a very nice vehicle, to have my teeth fixed.

And it bothers me how much integrity, that is how I make it not about money, my husband lacks. He was baptized, which means he promised to do certain things, one of which is pay a generous fast offering. I honestly do not even see why he does  not want to, but he doesn't even pay a little. When boys come to privately accept (so not done in public) he either does not answer the door, or pretends to put money in an empty envelope. It really really really upsets me. But, again, I do not believe it has to do with the money, but the idea.

The thing that nudged me over the top was his false claim the most children are adopted to be abused. I said it was more likely birth parents who would abuse their children because there would be far less intervention so things could be done in private. I do not really have an opinion nor ever think of such things, it was off the top of my head. His comment was that I was blatently wrong and I just ought to keep looking at thongs through my rose colored glasses, etc. citing that he was a realist.

That is a final straw. If I were to take off my glasses of any kind it would be to acknowledge that I came here to be with like minded people, which he wasn't. I had been decieved. It is true, I believed  that he was a number of things that he wasn't. And I apologize if his measly little advancements have not given me enough reason to hope for better things, but that would be another  one of those rose colored things I see. It is unrealistic to think he was ever going to become a thing he wasn't.

I honestly think  that he assumes that without a job or car I am powerless. But, I think it is his tinted vision that sees impossibilities. I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. And so, I will. I am hoping to find a job.

On second thought.... hahaha j/k.

1) I wonder what great thibgs I would be contemplating, or maybe someone would have solved world peace if they were not trapped in vicious thought cycles.
Wisdom comes to us when we are too old to think creatively, and I will think about things in the future and wonder, why didn't I think of that earlier?

2) I used to fret about being beautiful like it was something to do, but when I look back, it just never matched up. I always thought I lacked something, but looking back what I wouldn't give to have that problem. I will most likely look back on me now at a future date and realize how incredible I am. I often think, it cannot be about being better than others because I was waaay better than anyone, but it didn't mean anything to me. Right now, I am not terribly embarassed or ashamed of my body, but I want it to be much better, and that is a sincere goal. Not because I am interested in appealing to anyone. I just want to feel good about myself as a given.

Mission develops a vision of the significance of home and visiting teaching.

Teaching others is a way for us to live our comittment to serve the Lord.

Mosiah chapter 18 where our reason for making our baptismal covenant is explained:

8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;
9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life
10 Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?

Visiting and home teachers know alot about their families because they love them.

What does it mean to have a bit of a testimony? The thing that is implied is that it is a substitute way to say that they knew parts of the gospel are true.

God is aware and intends our assignments.

Sports are a reminder of how to view this life. At the time it is important but it ends and we return to our life although playing was a part of that life.

Socrates said something to the effect that we need to focus building the future not ponder the past.

Christ wipes the slate clean.

The bottomline is that if a thing inspires us to do good it is from God.

Number one thing that home or visiting teachers do is bring goodness into the home. It is the Spirit who teaches.

Chastity is a duty parents have to teach about sexual matters. It matters to be frank and clear and immediate, so they will seek us out when necessary.

We do not want them to be unsatisfied so that they seek elsewhere.

As parents it is important to correct things thatcare wrong.

Understand the power of PROCREATION, we need to pray to know what to teach and when.

Govern crestive power by mortal law instead of by instinct like the animals.

It is an awesome duty to have been given the power to create life. It is as important as the power to take life.

Only done in a marriage because children deserve to be born into a family.

Do not beat around the bush with teenagers.

You cannot build a family unless you love and are committed to the other, sexual relationships create a false sense of a relationship, strong feelings are forged so refraining from sex unless.

A bible has a misprint called "sinners bible" the Bible said "Thou shalt commit adultry."

You are  no match for Satan (without the spirit)

You must have a plan for ourselves and our children. Satan does have a plan for you...reminds me of a excerpt from a book where Michael hesitates and as a result he does not kill Satan and when Satan gets the chance he does not hesitate at all, and he kills Michael.

Scripture to lust after women is actually pornography, so any way we encourage it at all then we are helping the industry.

A masterful way the adversary gets to us is through making us feel useless and not wanted.

We must teach our children not to be immodest. Flaunting body is not good.

Being prettier than intended, like makeup, is it to make others look at you, so it is pornography?

A divine urge can be used against you. That is how we are tricked in most ways.

Breaking law of chastity is most important.

Have children list 5 worst sins, and order them.

Teach consequences.

“When a man and woman conceive a child out of wedlock, every effort should be made to encourage them to marry. When the probability of a successful marriage is unlikely due to age or other circumstances, unwed parents should be counseled to place the child for adoption through LDS Family Services to ensure that the baby will be sealed to temple-worthy parents”

Need to have the spirit, so I brought cupcakes.

Changing our hearts isn't changing who we are but changing to how we feel about things.

Our problems might not be as big to another.

How do we change our lives to God.

We tell our kids everyday that they need to brush their teeth, even though they already know to do it. So, even when we pray or just know what to do.

The divorced guy expected two months was long enough. Often things must be on the Lords time.

This lady prayed and then 10 years later it was answered.

When you have a problem and others say, "it will work out." We want to punch them in the face.

Things we like to do when in a trouble.

Go to the temple and serve others.
Do not give up.
Gratitude for what we do have.
Get it out of my mouth helps my big troubles be smaller. Speak to others who we love.
Ponder - that is how we get answers that might not be easy to see.

It will all work out.  Requires we put our trust in God. Or else it is just annoying and we do not see it as a possible thing, but instead is just something  we say "lip service".

True dedication we still need patience and trust in the atonement.

Blessed with full recovery, and it requires alot of faith and patience because she was not even concious most of the time, and was pretty beat up.

When things are the way they are it is  because they are part of a plan, and one day, if we perservere we will be able to understand, and it will work out.

(This is personal, but sometimes like Gloria's blessing, when we are allowed to know that things will work out

Pres eyrings father prayed and then was asked later if he was answered, his reply was yes, the world needs brave men. This was likened to those who dare to speak in front  of a large group.

Commandments are like huge "I Love Yous" and obedience is like saying I love you back to him.

Commandments are given because God loves you. It all boils down to love.

Even if you only want to believe, put your effort behind it, and it may develop into sufficient faith to obey.

Commandment seem to limit and spoil the trip, like the story about barriers and surfers from conference.

We see through a glass darkly, and do not see things as they are.

It is hard to keep our course or courage when we do not have predators to worry about.

Obedience can be replaced with words like respect and honor.

A child earned money but it is not enough, his father dealt with it by asking if he had recently paid his tithing.

Will a man rob God? Wherein have we robed thee? God  says he will not allow you to prosper, unless you do pay.

It is a test according to Malachi to see if God will live up to his promise.

We can better serve our fellow man, if we make sure to nurture and strengthen ourselves.

Every lesson we ought to be considering in the back of our minds, the plan of Salvation.

Marriage.. is ORDAINED of God. It means that he approves of it. Order by apointment of a supreme authority.

Adam and Eve were married before death was on the earth, so lasting forever is not a REASON to be together.

If you marry outside of the church you might wander. Sister Anderson shared a story of her sister and how her husband goes away and she returns. Perhaps, someone will touch her life, and influence her to return. It sounds to me like the husband needs gentile influence.

Sometimes others are just less active and need our help.

We do not necessarily need to do a whole lot but our greatest influence might be felt in just doing a part of the entire process of activation.

The things that do not change but we need something to bring us to church, often it is our testimony, but friendship and callings are both listed and very much needed.

Maybe, pray specifically for those, it helped  with visits of a sister who was not active and it seemed to feel better.

This is the Lord's church.

Mid winter in a town almost in antartica, but still in Argentina.He is happy<~that is important.

A family is blessed so much when missionary serves.

If people want to hear the gospel he is glad to share it, but will not listen, they will not hear.

A lot of strength from loving parents. Missionaries appreciate and cherish that.

Wife broke her foot and it is so signifiant because of trek.

A woman did not know the church is true, but knows that the teachings of Jesus make her feel better, and this Church teaches those things.

When a missionary bore his testimony, a listener thought it was the mission, but it was the truth.

Beyond knowing the church is true, it is utmost important to know of all of the people, God loves you.

Tithing just wouldn't work. So, missionary told him, to quit his job and the Lord would bless him with a better job.

Pray, and make a little covenant if you need it, to have what you lack.

Faith leads to repentance.

A comment was that if you are married and have kids, you have it made.

We will not understand the atonement in this life, we cannot. It was said that likely we will still need it in the Celestial kingdom. It is like that comment that a point will ever be reached.

Every day we need to be mindful that there are those present who do not feel worthy to be.

We recieve a strength to help us. Sometimes the strength is in just doing it. Being strong enough to just do it.

Sins are serious when they effect others and need to be confessed to a proper priesthood authority. Then, they will no longer be remembered, and forgiven.

It is interesting that music "invites the spirit" and also is known to change the brain in a way to make it conduscive to things. So, we sing words to music.

I was staring at the carpet cause I was bored, and I am not an overly or even slightly emotional person, but, I felt a lump in my throat and tears started welling in my eyes from contemplation as I stared at the grapevine sort of pattern. At first, my thoughts were that the "fruit" looked like a heart. No, no, no, not a heart shape, but two strong muscles that could pump blood through the vines, I sort of giggled thinking of all of the metaphors of grapejuice and blood, even it's name is called "sangria" or some Sanguine word. But, my mind stayed on on fact as it followed each off shooting vine to it's conclusion. It maybe one very large/long interconnected vine, but it had so many ends!! I thought of my uncle Al who only had daughters although he named one Allison, he only has sisters, too. I think of it as perfectly normal, nothing sad, because since a child I had the notion that these are the latter-days so, no big deal. But, what made me sad was that each person is on that line so as we do genealogy even those who lived without an opportunity to accept the gospel because it was not even on the earth. What if during that time your line ended, there would be no ancestors to do your work for you, which ordinances like baptism is required to even enter the kingdom of God, right? So, it really, really makes,me sad. But, maybe the pattern was intended to communicate that and since the message was recieved I will seek out as many such lines as I can.

A strong family in trek is very similar with our own family. A positive attitude makes a better experience and it becomes a great learning experience.

Family is the unit of Heaven.

People on their own lives did nothing that seemed spectacular to their peers, but the rank up there with the famous people today in admiration. Plus, their actions gain respect of far more over time, if that is even the goal. I further suspect the appreciation and life changing effect is greater.

Fear is opposite of faith.

Faith is required by some to fly in an airplane. But, the second time it is easier because we have seen others do it.

Faith is a gift, but with a gift, you must have faith because someone gave the gift.

Never doubted you could do something but it takes a lot of work, for example, getting an education.

Everyone who ever did amazing did it out of faith.

Joseph Smith had a lot of faith.

When you pray and faith is stronger and you feel great and know that things are true, then. When you stand up and leave you are bombarded by the world. This is so much like the Temple.

But, you cannot explain to others the faith of God because they see it as denial of what is. But, even if the outcome is bad and someone is not healed or dies, but that is not our faith. We still know things.

When I was in the hospital I was told that I would die, but I did not ever believe it. Others said that I was a Christian when I moved my lawyer, therapist, etc. Called me spiritual because they knew that some sort of miracle happened.

All miracles came because another acted without a knowledge of what it would mean to them. I think specifically about my teeth.

The important thing is that through our trials and such we gain greater faith, ultimately that will allow us to gain our eternal reward. Miracles do not convert us.

Study scriptures will increase your faith. It helps you put in the work required.

The nephites did not have this scripture.

It is interesting that he knew for four years but was not allowed to take the book.

Story of the guy who hurried his chores and duties to go read and was called a nerd. And this sort of behavior is called unusual. I suppose I must be a nerd.

Lord answers through scriptures when we pray, at times it is black and white. And tells is exactly what we should do. Story of how the Lord told exactly to move in to her Father's house.

A friend said, the scriptures are the secrets of the universe. Sister Thacker said, they can tell us everything, even most mundane.

Studying our scriptures fill you pushing out everything else and as we study we become more the spiritual person we must become.

Scriptures are called the words of Christ.

Book of Mormon is what we build our whole faith upon, it is the keystone of our religion.

The D&C was important enough to be included as our scriptures.

Articles of Faith are what we believe.

Relief Society - lesson 5 repentance.

First about the prayer, I realized again that My testimony and why I do things is often because of things I know, I need to do more because I feel it. I serve others because I was told to do it, and so I do it because it is right, but it would be so much better if I served because I loved, truly felt their good and well being was my responsibility.

Our lives are purposed in Joy which is dependent on repentance.

Sin is the opposite of freedom.

Do our prophets actually have faith in Jesus Christ or a knowledge?

Peace can come as a result of true repentance.

The first step is purity.

People believed in king Benjamin although Christ had not come yet.

Christ works inside out. That is the answer to world peace, cleanliness which is recieved through repenting and getting rid of sins or things holding us back.

Told story of Alma the Younger brought up the mighty change of heart. It inclines our heart to God and we desire good things more, and the cycle that leads us to happiness.

Missionaries claim it was the best two years of their lives because they get to see lives change as they recieve the gospel.

There is a difference between being sorry but not unto repentance.

All we need to do is open up and let him in. She is talking about missionaries knocking on doors and it makes me laugh.

Do not fear that when we open the door to God that he will not be there.

God already knows what we want, but he wants us to ask.

We are given weaknesses so that we have a need.

The teacher asked if we have sins so that we can be close to the Lord. I thought, "Well yeah." But then the answer was no. As we discussed weaknesses I understood that we are given weaknesses from God. So he wants us to need something that thing is repentance.

Often, we are needed to forgive others. Now, I think of that Bible story where Jesus tells us to forgive many many times, even if it is not deserved per se. Like that story of the Amish people and the funeral...

I would give up my sins to know God.

Sometimes, things do not happen miraculously like Alma the younger, it is bit by bit that we become purer, like the sacrament each week. One sister explained that she needed to forgive others to even take the sacrament.

Do not harbor the past, shake it off and realize the Lord is merciful and kind.

It is a steady journey toward eternal life not miraculous acts. But a gradual inclination towards Godly things.

It was fascinating that the pianist asked me if I heard it, during the closing song it sounded like tons of people were singing and the harmonies were sublime.

Our leaders pray that you will be strengthened.

The dresses we sewed for the people in Africa, and we in turn were blessed with the know how. And I got to use the idea to make a dress for my daughter for her Christmas present and a visiting women commented how brilliant the idea was, it was a direct blessing of service.

So much of Jesus'ministry was done while he was doing another thing, minister as we go along.

Charity Never Faileth, reminds me of that quote, "Never neglect a person who needs to be loved to do a thing." Ohhh, that quote was not as good as the actual one, but that is the sentiment.

Story was a testimony that the Lord was aware of him. He was so angry, but greatful for the atonement, that removed the pain even when our burden is not from sin.

It is important to teach children to start praying for the women... Their wives to be.

Someone brought it to my attention that if you are truly a pacifist you may need to chop off a few arms. No one actually said that, but I got that from the comment that if you would not stop fighting then, the solution is to cut off their arms, that would be more humane than killing them or something. I personally would rather die, but it has also been said that often we need to remove an offending body part to achieve what it is keeping us from.

But, the most amazing thing I have to share is that we should not force our round lives into square pegs. If it takes therapy, so be it. It is worth it to sieze the day.

Even when I was not here, I felt like I belonged.

Fasting with a purpose does bless you undoubtedly. We can observe miracles from this which increases our testimony.

When you are really hungry, even bad food tastes good.

We all need to reread the book of Mormon from time to time.

  A lyric touches you. Even if you are small and feel insignificant, and cannot do anything large...our eyes are small and they see such great things.

Even away from saints, I knew that I was not alone, but he felt even angel's prescence, it builds his testimony (I thought about the prayers and how I know they were answered)

She feels like she is getting old because kids are growing up. callings are divinely set up and used to help us.

Another person felt their ancestors asking things from them through the work of Family history.

If you do not have time to pray for 10 minutes, pray for an hour.

Prayer is done by bowing head and closing eyes, out of respect, same reason we KNEEL.

Find things is a reason to pray.

Story about Joseph, and the time he prayed for his pillow, and I did not want to tell him that his prayer would not be answered, then at Christmas he got a handmade pillowcase and excitedly said, my pillow is going to love this.

We should pray to acknowledge that God does hear us. And then we must pray for the spirit to teach, otherwise, we would not even do it.

There is another time a man noted that he reallized that it does not matter who fills the position, because the spirit is the real teacher.

Just this morning, Joe would not crawl outfrom under his bed, so I found that I needed to pray and I should not have been surprised, but it worked, I was inspired to do a thing I would not have done otherwise.

The people that we need to forgive might not just be the ones who do things to harm is or make us mad. But, might be those who hinder us spiritually.

Our idea of what success is changes so who needs forgiveness might.
Eternal perspective.

A guy promised to act if they knew that they should do a thing.. that is an example of real intent.

Atonement is combining estranged things to one, that is an easy way to remember it.

When Ina Mae needed strength, do not go to wizzards or such, but tell the Lord... The feelings of her lost son. That kept her going back.

The Atonement is taught to children through the metaphor of being helped out of a pit.

The greatest evidence of Our Father's love for each of us. This is evident in how he did not safe his darling son when he suffered and was crucified.

If he could refrain from helping Jesus for the good of others. Likewise it helps to remember that if he Isn't helping us, it is because he is thinking of the good of others.

In premortal existance we discussed such opportunities as we actually are now living, to forgive.

When the choir stood up, Mary Anne said, "look! My teacher is up there!" And she started waving.

Various places, like our parents home, mission, college, etc.

We have al had prodigal son moment, but we most importantly need to come home.

When any child comes to himself in that he needs to come home, any parent would gladly welcome and forgive their child.

I just had an incredible moment with Mary. She was mad and wanted to hit a child who she decided was bad. Quickly, I told her to quickly say a prayer with me, and so we prayed and when it was over she said, "Mom,  he is gone. Our prayers always work, don't they." Such simple faith, but I really did not want her to have such a wrong idea, although it is true our prayers are always heard, and answered."

God is surprisingly aware of us and answers in a way that is best, but he does answer. The talks today were witness to that end.

It is interesting how I sort of am given a different lesson than the one given. I must remain silent because it is not for so many to know, this time, I am getting another witness of how much truth can be comprehended and grasped and truly understand how the kingdom and God himself abides, there are laws, but these,laws are not clearly transferred to our observation.

How can we know missery without children?

When life was bad a woman let herself be depressed and she was miserable and finally decided enough is enough. Depression breeds depression.

We can acknowledge suffering, but not give into it, but get back up.

In class we briefly mentioned the story in the book of Mormon about a brother of Jared. It is a story where a man prayed to know how God would do a thing that seemed impossible. After much thought and delberation, it is decided that Jesus will touch stones to make them glow, thereby lighting the vessels as the travel to the new world. The thing that is still on my mind anew, and often I consider in many situations is the need for secrecy.

People in my class discussed why if he was obviously such a righteous,man why he is only referred to as the brother of so and so. The funny thing, to me, is how my daughter explains this story from the picture (cause she cannot read yet) as he had so much faith that he saw the finger of God and instantly knew that Jesus had "flashing bones".

But, what I mark the story down as is another example of things that for some reason are not told although they are not hidden, persee. Like the notion that we surely have an eternal mother, or that in order to be an example of a Heavenly family and to be literal children of God, etc. The things which are commonly taught and believed suggest things that are not commonly spoke of. I think there is a whole lesson here to be understood. It is why things like temple doings are not spoken of openly, but are not secret necessarily.

The biggest example for me was a famous rock star who though clearly he was so in love seemed to avoid mentioning his wife in public. I did not understand this, so I prayed about it, and understood it as humility on her part, first of all, and a great deal of true love. Meaning that it was not a thing that he with held from public knowledge, but out of a deeper respect and reverance he did not speak of commonly to have this relationship be turned into fodder for any redicule or made light of... In Mormonism, we have been given a easy way to describe the sort of privacy as "sacred, not secret."

Think of someone who did something marvelous for us growing up. This can be forgotten, but what Jesus did for us will never be forgotten, and we commemorate it weekly.

We might feel like a child being told to eat our vegtables when we consider keeping all of our commandments.

Self image is so important because when we are judged it will not matter what others percieve of us.

No matter what we try to accomplish, the adversary will be there trying to increase our doubt.

Take responsibility for yourself. Opposed to just being there.

Be quick to use atonement as needed. Focus on what our Heavenly Father wants for you.

Be good at forgiving. Maybe you are to forgive others to develop a perspective for you.

Accept trials as part of mortal experience.

It is a testimony that the gospel is true because with so many diverse topics, such outstandinly brilliant things are true and understood and spoken of, and I am so delighted to hear them and know that that much is true.

Mormon church is a bit scarier because it is not just a go and forget. Basically it requires a whole lot of dedication and accordingly we need to seriously consider.

Service is not just about doing something for others, but help them feel the love to the point that they want to help others too.

We are a much better people and we can serve by sharing so much better the things we have.

There are things children need to learn to do things, especially to help mother.

Maybe service brings us closer to feeling what it would be like to be in his prescence. *His spirit is in service, and when we serve we feel it and desire that so much.

Why are the missionaries so eager to tell me what they believe?

Always was and will be a missionary church and we see it as our duty as per baptismal covenant. We as, LDS take it seriously.

The speaker made our goal to bring world peace sound like the same as Moslems only we do not achieve it through a jihad but by invitation.

Story about how he wanted to give BoM, but procrastinated and then finally bucked up and gave it, but missionaries already had. (I can related. I knew someone and I wrapped it and addressed it, but somehow found that someone already had beat me to the punch, but the thing I can get from this is that this person is so important that he put the idea into multiple minds).

"We need to be a light, not a judge."

"God cannot drive a parked car." To move in the right direction we need to be moving.

As a missionary he was instructed that he needed to speak to someone. Ended up they were chasing a guy and his companion asked, "Do we need to talk to this guy?" And it was that simple, they did, so the Chase continued.

Trials help us become who we ought.

He gets to help his parents a lot in sacrament.

Whenever someone tastes sweet and grand fruit or things, they want to share.

20 years since mission, but I still know what one must do to gain a testimony. It hasn't changed much.

As we grow in our conversion, we naturally want to share.

John, the beloved, never tasted of death.

Everything necessary has happened, we just need to keep our covenants (by our faith that all those things are real).

Story of Alma who needed to be forgiven. It is interesting that the sons of Mosiah were not given such an experience.

If we have been forgiven, doesn't it make us so happy that we want to share (my thoughts, not shared but are summarized by the song, "Aeroplane")

Sometimes we do not know what to say, but say it anyway.

We do not share the gospel with those who are not members.

We have questions, but then when we have a serious issue then we ask more serious questions that lead us to look heaven ward.

Maybe each day we should begin our day by recognizing that we are children of God.

How much is what we believe effecting what we say or how we think. The beauty of thought that we see/recognize in others might stem from a commonality of religion.

Talking about first vision carries a spirit with it, that is so much like the thing the missionary taught about not listening to what is said, but what accompanies it.

All that is good is of God and can be felt.

Sometimes we do not even know that we are being cut down.

When the prophet chose his council he prayed about who to ask and began each meeting with a prayer and he was asked if he thought it would work, and he said, "yes" it did.

What should be pray for:
Each child and their specific needs.
Giving gratitude.
We need to pray for our teachers and those who work.

When we cannot use our phones we need to rely on the Lord.

Heavenly Father is aware of us and we need to do his will.

If we seek things from Heavenly Father but do nothing to help others.

Our abilities to handle them will increase.

  Really Good Questions regarding Our Heavenly Father.

A really good way to start off a lesson and then find the answers in the lesson.

In the first vision we learn that God knows us by name and that he actually has a body.

It is natural for a teen to be going through turmoil, and the thing that is good about Joseph is that he actually prayed.

Everything that is good testifies of Christ. There was a grand design.

Among other things the church and it's organization testifies of Christ. So we know this must be his church.

We learn that real love develops when we love God first. It is true with all things if we put God first.

Power of the atonement lifts our burdens so we can do more.

What is the condition of your home? Are you placing God first?

Many try to do both have a career and work at home. And they need our help. They are trying to do what is best.

God loves us, Satan hates us. It is because I do not believe that, that is probably my ultimate hang up, if I could just believe that Satan hates,me. I already believe that Jesus has my best interest at heart.

A thought regarding "brain dumps"

I had been thinking it for a long time, these thoughts are actually shared with the world and that is not the intention. So, you do not think that you are reading forbidden thoughts, just know that others who say and think such things never did so to a global audience, I just started always posting these as a sort of history of great things said so that I can remember and I put them online so they can have a more permanent home where they are less likely to be accidentally lost or deleted.

But, I paused to consider today that although the veracity would not change, the information may have not been intended for global perusal, and for that I apologize and hope to never have ruined the confidence created in classrooms that fosters the sharing of such marvelous truths.

Heh, I love that I used that word "marvelous", I have commented before to people that sometimes I need a new vocabulary to offer sincere thanks or compliments to avoid sounding less genuine. And that is a word used by my Heavenly Father that I did exactly that. I failed to recognize it for being as powerful as it is because it had been sort of used up by Isaiah in regards to a "marvelous work and wonder."

The more you read and study the more you want to live. It is like a person sitting in the dark it is not instantly light, but if they get up and do something about it...

Strength of testimony, she knows that although her daughter lost her baby, she believes they will have a child when the time is right.

People ask for money but they really need something else.

Love creates love. This world needs love.

Children are planted seeds of our testimony.

Anger is not an expression of strength.

We are all converted, it is a process.

That reminds me of the book by George Pace "A Search to Know The Lord" where he taught that he was not converted at baptism, but was given the Holy Ghost.

It is important to create a loving environment to facilitate learning.

Never speculate or use outside things as substitute.

The spirit speaks through the actual God given words of the scriptures. This brings up my hatred for newer translations and how I notice that I do it when teaching my children I actually only teach what I understand whereas the spirit is the real teacher.

We need to read from our own scriptures. And not abridge what is written and teach that.

Recieve requires action on our part, reading scriptures is that action.

We invite learning by asking others to participate.
