Brain dump

What harm could actually be done by living the gospel.

We read the Book of Mormon to get something new each time. If we tell someone else to read it, it will backfire and we will just be the one reading it.

110% LDS. In Wyoming where you can se forever. He moved and there were bushes everywhere. And awesome analogy of how that is like how when we are born we have a veil and can no longer see everything.

A woman said that she would not be a teacher, but prayed and was told that she should be a teacher. Was a teacher for 31 years.

We can know and do what is right.

Parable of the talents.

Shows what we can do with the talents we have been given.

Be willing to take risks?

Everyone has the ability to tell right from wrong.

Everyone has talents.

We are told in our pat. Bless what we are given from heavenly father.

We have a responsibility of nurturing them.

Glorify our father in heaven.

1) We should evaluate our talents.

2) be willing to spend time and energy to develop that talent.

3) must have faith in our father and our self.

4) learn skills necessary to develop a talent. An example would be woodworking. Or public speaking.

5) take the time to master a thing.

6) but, be willing to share your talent.

Using a talent will help round out a develop things that we do not do right now.

Enoch was slow of speech.

That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not because the thing becomes easier, but because we become better or more skilled.

We will be held accountable for what we have accomplished from what we are given.

What if the person who composed a song had never written it, would you have it to listen to?

You never know who will benefit from our talent.

You can develop and become very good at, maybe there is something that you are supposed to do.

If you feel prompted to say something, do so.

What is the stand of LDS women. All different ages.

Our lesson is about our divine role as women.
Roman Catholic Women Priests.

Older women who are looking for a greater role. Interviewed women.

Interviews transcribed for a book. On why and what they sought.

If we know who we are and where to be then there is nothing for us but fulfillment.

Women have a very important roleand always, have. We have a divine birthright.

Mother directed family of Elder Oaks.

Abuse is not the priesthood though it may be men.

Did not have a male rolemodel in her home, but she assumed responsibilities, but relied on the ward to teach and do the things that she needed.

Sometimes it is hard to see the positives, because there seems to be so many.

In hospital, her neighbor said, how she must have had a big family or lots of friends... Because of all the Ward did to help them.

Men is not synonym with priesthood.
There are keys though... Reminds me of my dad talking about how he felt the key of being a bishop being removed when he was released.

The Lord can protect you when priesthood is not there, but if you can get the blessings.

Women have claim on all blessings of the keys of the priesthood.

Bounderies regional geographic responsibility. And duration outside of the home. Patriarchal vs. Heirarchal.

We as women are not silent or non active ingredient. :) in the home.

Differences in how you honor bishop vs. Husband.

We need to respect the office that men in our lives hold.

No power ought to ever be held over us.

We are all human. Maybe the man is not perfect, but their calling is and the Lord chose them to fill it.

Never pictured her life without a priesthoodholder.

God does not love anyone more than others. This is true in any relationship or unified organization.
